4.3.3 General textile care symbols

4.4 Setting and starting of a drying programme
1. Ensure that the laundry to be dried is suitable for drying in a tumble dryer. Always
observe the textile labels!
2. Put the laundry to be dried in the drum. Always observe the maximum load
(depending on the type of laundry); s. chapter 4.3 THE DRYING PROGRAMMES et
seq.
3. Set a drying programme suitable for the laundry to be dried using the ROTARY
KNOB. The dryer is now switched on.
4. The button / indicator « START / PAUSE » starts to flash.
If you do not press a button within 10 minutes, the appliance switches to standby
mode automatically. The display indicates « ».
5. In addition to the selected programme, further DRYING FUNCTIONS such as anti-
crease, delay start, etc. can be selected using the corresponding buttons; s. chapter
4.4.2 THE ADDITIONAL DRYING FUNCTIONS. The corresponding operational
status indicators go on.
