4.8 Humidity sensor
❖ The sensor detects the moisture of the textiles automatically and adjusts the
drying period needed relevant to the amount of load.
This function is activated automatically for all programmes except
« TIME 30' / 60' / 90' » / « AIR DRY » und « FRESHEN-UP ». These programmes
dry after a preset time, regardless of the current humidity of the laundry.
5. Environmental protection
5.1 Environmental protection: disposal
❖ Appliances bearing this symbol « » must not be disposed of together with
household waste throughout the EU. To prevent potential damage to the
environment or human health from uncontrolled waste disposal and to promote
the sustainable reuse of material resources, responsibly supply the appliance to a
recycling centre.
5.2 Environmental protection: energy saving
❖ Try to load the appliance up to its particular maximum capacity. Little loads are
uneconomical.
❖ Do not dry your clothes too long. This avoids creases and saves energy.
❖ Always select a drying programme according to the type of laundry and the
required drying level required.
❖ Accumulated contamination on the fluff filters reduces the air circulation, causes
longer drying-times and increased energy consumption. Clean the fluff filters after
each use of the appliance.
❖ Ensure that the installation room is well ventilated.
