Before carrying out any type of maintenance make sure that the power cable has been
disconnected from the mains.
After using the brushes it is advisable to allow the bristles to cool in their natural position
so as to avoid them getting deformed in any way.
Check the conditions of the gaskets located inside the monobloc plug (B2) Periodically.
If necessary, replace them with the appropriate spares. Also carry out the same check
on the gaskets for connecting the extension tubes (D) and the handle (A2).
To clean the outside of the appliance, just use a damp cloth. Do not use solvents or
detergents as these might damage the plastic surface.
Cleaning the “EcoActive-Filter” water-based filter assembly
We strongly recommend cleaning this assembly after each use.
Lift up the water container (20) and remove it from its compartment by the handle of the
container (22) (Fig. 3).
Turn the handle as in fig.4 and remove the “EcoActiveFilter” water filter assembly (23).
Empty the container tilting it towards the groove (Fig. 10).
Pull the elbow tube (27) from the filter body with microholed net (26) until it comes out.
Take all the components to pieces and rinse them in running water (Fig. 11a).
Put the water filter assembly back together again repeating the operations described above
but in reverse order.
ATTENTION: make the arrow on the elbow tube (27) coincide with the reference on the
filter body with microholed net (26) (Fig. 11b).
Put the filter assembly back into place in the tank.
Cleaning or replacing the filtering sponge
Pull the elbow tube (27) out of the filter body with microholed net (26) until it comes out.
Take all the components to pieces and rinse them in running water (Fig. 11a) (if the sponge
filter is torn replace it. Purchase a new one from an authorized Polti assistance centre).
Replacement of the air outlet filter cartridge
Unhook the water container handle (22) and remove the
container (20) as described in the “preparation for use”
paragraph.
Lift theunhooking lever for air outlet filter (18) and remover
the filter from its place (Fig. 14), replace the filter with an
original Polti filter.
Note: the filter lasts for about 100 hours (approximately 6
months) when used normally in a domestic
environment. If the force of suction drops
considerably, replace the filter cartridge even before
using it for 100 hours.
For the correct positioning of the air outlet filter (17) make
sure it is placed in its holders (19) and then that it is hooked
by the lever (18) (Fig. 14).
