▪ Loosen the soleplate by pushing the lock lever (18) onto the unlock position” ”, adjust
the soleplate to the desired angle and tight it by pulling the lock lever onto the lock
position” ”.
▪ Angle setting can be seen on scale on top of the base plate.
10.3 Switch on and off (Fig. 6)
▪ Connect the battery pack (11) to the cordless jig saw and ensure it firmly.
▪ To switch on the jig saw, push the lock button (2) to left or right as the arrows shown and
press the ON/OFF switch trigger (3)
▪ When you release the switch trigger (3), the tool turns off.
10.4 Adjusting the pendulum regulation knob (Fig. 7)
This jig saw is equipped with four cutting actions, one straight and three orbital. Orbital action
has a more aggressive blade motion and is designed for cutting in soft materials like wood or
plastic. Orbital action provides faster cut, but with a rougher cut across the material. In orbital
action, the blade moves forward during the cutting stroke in addition to the up and down
motion.
Note: Metal or hardwoods should never be cut in orbital action.
To adjust the cutting action, moves the orbital switch knob between the four cutting positions:
0, I, II, and III. Position 0 is the straight cutting. Positions I, II and III are orbital cutting. The
aggressiveness of the cut increase as the knob is moved from one to three, with three being
the most aggressive cut.
10.5 Use laser line generator (Fig. 8)
Warning: Do not stare directly at the laser beam. Never aim the beam at any
person or an object other than the work piece.
Do not deliberately aim the beam at personnel and ensure that it is not directed towards the
eye of a person for longer than 0.25s.
Always ensure the laser beam is aimed at a sturdy work piece without reflective surfaces i.e.
Wood or rough coated surfaces are acceptable. Bright shiny reflective sheet steel or the like is
not suitable for laser use as the reflective surface could direct the beam back at the operator.
Only turn laser beam when tool is on work piece.
Turn on: depress the switch button (14), the laser generator (13) works.
Turn off: Press the switch button (14) again.
▪ Make sure line of the cut on the work piece.
▪ Adjust the angle of cut as required
▪ Plug in the machine and start the motor
▪ When the blade is at its maximum speed (approximately 2 seconds), place the saw on the
work-piece.
▪ Align the beam with the mark on the work-piece and slowly push the saw forward using
both hands, keeping the red light beam on the mark.
▪ Switch off this tool when completion of the cut.
10.6 LED work light (Fig. 8)
The LED work light (4) can light if you turn the tool on, which keep the work area to be lighted
for checking clearly at first, and it lights also during your operation.
