9 ASSEMBLY
9.1 Handle assembly
9.1.1 Mounting the lower handle (Fig. A & C)
▪ Slide the lower handle (8) holes over the mounting bolts (b) located above the rear
wheels.
▪ The round locking plates (a) on the body and handle allow an angle setting of the lower
handle (8).
▪ Set the lower handle at a comfortable angle.
▪ Screw the cam lock (5) onto mounting bolt (b).
▪ Close the cam lock until it sits parallel against the handle bar.
NOTE: If the cam lock (5) is difficult to open or close, loosen it by turning it
counter clockwise.
If the cam lock is too loose the handle will not be securely fastened, rotate
the cam lock (5) clockwise and check again if the handle is secure.
9.1.2 Assembly of the upper handle (Fig. A & D):
▪ Insert the long mounting bolt (c) through the opening of the bottom part of the handle (10)
with the end facing the outside.
▪ Mount the upper part of the handle (10) over the end of the bolt.
▪ Pull up and back on the upper handle (10) to raise it into operating position.
▪ Install the washer and cam lock (9) over the bolt and tighten.
▪ Close the cam lock (9) until it sits parallel against the handle bar (10).
NOTE: If the cam lock (9) is difficult to open or close, loosen it by turning it
counter clockwise.
If the cam lock is too loose the handle will not be securely fastened, rotate
the cam lock (9) clockwise and check again if the handle is secure.
9.1.3 Guiding the power cable (Fig. A & D)
▪ Guide the power cable on top of the lower and upper handlebars using the supplied cable
clips (4).
Caution: the power cable (a) must always be positioned on top of the
handlebar. This provides free movement of the cable on top of the lower
section, when the handle is folded. Incorrect mounting of the cable could
lead to damaging and/or straining it, resulting in a malfunction of the
machine. In this case the guarantee is void.
9.1.4 To lower the upper handle (Fig. A & D)
▪ Open the upper cam locks (9).
▪ Fold the upper handle forward, the mower is now more compact for storage.
NOTE: If the cam lock is difficult to open or close, loosen it by turning it
counter clockwise.
