▪ Hold the tool pointed straight at the screw/bolt to be worked on. Apply forward pressure tot
the tool to the extent that the bit will not slip off the screw and turn the tool on to start
operation.
▪ Do not tighten the screw/bolt too long to avoid damaging it.
▪ NOTE: the proper fastening/loosening torque may differ depending upon the kind of size
of the screw/bolt, the material of the work piece to be fastened etc. The proper fastening
torque may differ depending upon the kind or size of the bolt. Check the torque with a
torque wrench.
NOTE: Your 20V tool has a “sleep” mode that helps to extend the run time of
the battery. After a period of non-use, the tool will hesitate slightly before
starting. This is the battery coming out of “sleep” mode and is normal.
10 CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
10.1 Cleaning
▪ Always be sure that the tool is switched off and the battery pack is removed from the tool
before attempting to perform inspection or maintenance.
▪ Keep the ventilation slots of the machine clean to prevent overheating of the engine.
▪ Regularly clean the machine housing with a soft cloth, preferably after each use.
▪ Keep the ventilation slots free from dust and dirt.
▪ If the dirt does not come off use a soft cloth moistened with soapy water.
▪ Never use solvents such as petrol, alcohol, ammonia water, etc. These solvents may
damage the plastic parts.
10.2 Maintenance
▪ Our machines have been designed to operate over a long period of time with a minimum
of maintenance. Continuous satisfactory operation depends upon proper machine care
and regular cleaning.
