9.2 Dust and chip extraction
For integrated dust extraction, place the dust bag (14) on the sawdust outlet.
For external dust, you can use a vacuum cleaner hose.
The dust bag is only for a partial dust removal!
9.3 Clamping the work piece
Make sure the work piece can’t be catapulted. The clamp (3) is the most perfect gadget to
avoid this.
▪ Press the work piece against the fence (4) and between the clamp
▪ Tighten the clamp (3) clockwise to secure the work piece.
9.4 Horizontal mitre angle (fig.2)
▪ Loosen the turntable lock screw (25).
▪ Turn the turntable and scale pointer (20) to the desired angular setting on the dial (5) and
tighten the turntable lock screw (25).
9.5 Adjusting of the cutting angle (fig.3)
The angle gauges are set at the factory, but we recommend that for precision work you check
and if necessary calibrating them as follows.
▪ 90° bevel angle: Set bevel and mitre angles to 0° on the angle gauges and lock the upper
arm in its lowered position by the retaining pin (15). Place a try square at the side of the
saw blade and table fence (4), if the mitre angle is not 90° bevel angle, achieve the right
angle by loosen the lock button for the angle adjustment and the 2 fence screws, adjust
the alignment of the fence in relation to the saw blade end re-tighten the 2 fence screws.
9.6 Vertical bevel angle (Fig. 4)
The vertical bevel angle can be set in the range of 0° to 45°. The vertical bevel scale shows
the currently set in degrees.
▪ Loosen the locking lever (18), if tightened.
▪ Swing the tool arm with the handle to the required angle.
▪ Tighten the locking lever (18).
▪ Place a protractor at the side of the saw blade and table, if the angle is not 45° bevel
angle. Adjusting the height of the adjustment screw (a) until the bevel angle is the correct
angle. Finally tighten the nut and check the angle once more.
9.7 Switching ON / OFF
For your safety use both hands to switch the power tool on and off.
▪ Connect the power tool to the power supply.
▪ Unlock the lock-off button and depress the on/off switch (9) in the direction of the handle.
The saw blade rotates as long as you keep the switch engaged.
▪ When you want to turn off the machine, you have to release the on/off switch (9).
9.8 Laser
▪ You can switch the laser ON and OFF with the switch (24)
▪ The laser (21) directs a beam onto the workpiece
▪ Extremely precise cuts can be made using the laser function.
