8.2 Remove the battery (fig 1)

Press the lock buttons (1) on both sides of the battery and gently pull the battery (2) out of the

nailer/stapler.

8.3 Charging the battery (fig 2)

It will take approximately 7 hours to charge the battery for the first time. Recharge the

batteries as requested. It will take approximately 1,5-2 hours to recharge the battery.

 Plug the charger power supply (1) into a power outlet.

 Plug the charger power supply cable into the port (2) on the charger. The indicator light

(3) will be green.

 Insert the battery into the charger cradle (4). The indicator light will turn red (battery is

charging)

 When the battery is fully charged the indicator light will light green.

8.4 Loading the magazine (fig 3)

 Push down and in on the release lever (1) and pull the plunger (2) out as far as it will go.

 Turn the nailer/stapler upside down and place a nail strip or staple strip in the track.

Note: incline the nailer/stapler slightly when inserting a nail strip or staple strip so that the nails

rest against the side wall of the track.

 Push the plunger into the nailer/stapler until the release lever closes.

9 OPERATION

9.1 Setting the hammer force (fig 4)

The machine has a hammer force adjusting knob. Set the desired hammer force by turning the

adjusting knob. As a general rule: the harder the workpiece to be connected and the longer

the nail, the higher the hammer force required.

The hammer force required for each application depends on many factors. The ideal setting

can only be found with experience.

9.2 Using the nailer/stapler

 Load the magazine as described above.

 Set the hammer force as desired (see above). For optimum results we recommend

carrying out a test.

 Place the workpieces on a workbench as they are to be connected. Use a clamping device

if appropriate.

 Always hold the stapler with both hands. Hold the stapler firmly against the workpiece with

one hand and operate the switch with the other hand.
