LED will light up. Press on the battery pack to ensure that the battery contacts make good

contact with the charger. When everything is connected properly, the red LED will light

continuously, indicating that the battery is being charged.

 When the battery is fully charged, the green light will be lit continuously and the red light

will go out.

 Press both locking buttons (B) of the battery to remove the battery from the charger.

 The charging time to fully charge the battery is one hour. You can also use a quick charge

function by inserting the battery into the charger for 10 minutes. Then you will be able to

start the machine up to 10 times. With a full battery, you can start the machine up to 50

times.

If the red light of the charger flashes, the temperature of the battery is too

high. First, let the battery cool down completely and then try to charge it

again (Fig. 5a).

When the red and the green light flash, the battery is defective and must be

replaced (Fig. 5b).

9.2 Starting the engine

9.2.1 Inserting the battery (Fig. 6)

 When the battery is charged, slide it along the right side of the battery holder of the engine

until it clicks into place.

 To remove the battery from the machine, press both locking buttons of the battery and pull

the battery along the right side out of the battery holder of the engine.

 After inserting the charged battery, move the speed control lever to the highest position.

 Stand behind the machine, grip the brake lever firmly and hold it pressed against the

upper part of the handle and then turn the starter key until the engine starts.

9.3 Stop engine

To stop engine, release the brake lever.

WARNING! The blade will continue to rotate for a few seconds after the

engine has stopped. Disconnect the spark plug cap if the lawnmower is to

be left unattended.

9.4 Self-propelling function

 Self-propelling is controlled by holding the brake lever up to the handle and pushing the

drive control lever forward until it clicks.

 Forward motion will stop when drive lever is released. To stop forward motion without

stopping engine, release the drive lever slightly until the drive control disengages. Hold

brake lever up against handle to continue mowing without self-propelling.

WARNING: The lawn mower immediately starts moving. To stop the

movement, release the brake lever (1). The lawn mower will then stop

immediately.
