Dehumidification
When the crystals have changed to blue, the unit is ready for
use.
• Disconnect the mains lead and place the unit in the area to
be dehumidified. It is suitable for the removal of excess
moisture from small areas such as drawers, storage boxes,
cupboards, wardrobes, and bookshelves.
• When the crystals in the indicator window change back to
pink, then the unit must be recharged again, as above.
• After every recharge the unit can be used for 1-2 months in
a sealed space, depending on the amount of moisture in the
air.
• The EH1102 needs no power supply whilst dehumidifying.
A mains connection is only required to recharge.
FAULT FINDING
Very little humidity is extracted.
• The unit requires recharging. This is indicated by the colour
of the crystals in the indicator window. If they are pink, the
unit requires recharging.
Indicator crystals remain pink
• The unit must be connect to the mains supply to recharge.
• If the crystals have not changed colour, check the mains
supply.
• Recharging can take up to 15 hours.
Unit becomes warm
• It is normal for the unit to be warm whilst recharging.
