OPERATION
Plug the mains lead into a 13 Amp mains socket.
If connecting via an extension lead, make sure that the lead is
rated at 13 Amps or more, and that it is fully unwound.
Switch the appliance on at the mains socket.
Use the control panel operation:
• Press the ON button once, or twice to select 800 W or 1600 W
heat output.
• Press the OFF button to switch the heater off.
• Press the TURN button to switch oscillation on or off. When
oscillation is switched on the heater turns from side to side to
distribute the heat more evenly.
• The TIMER can be used to switch the heater off after a set time,
from 30 minutes to 7½ hours. Press the TIMER button until the
LED indicators show the total time after which the heater is
required to switch off.
• Unplug the appliance from the mains when not in use.
• If the heater is disconnected from the mains supply, or is
switched off at the socket, it will be necessary to use the control
panel to switch it on again. It cannot be used with a timer.
USING THE REMOTE CONTROL
Before using the remote control, remove the battery compartment
cover from the rear panel and fit two AAA batteries, observing the
polarity indications.
The buttons on the remote control have exactly the same functions
as the buttons on the control panel.
