TIPS ON USE
Before assembling the machine you should take the following steps:
1) Place the base on a firm, dry surface with the locking handle in the
down position (as shown in the photo).
2) Place the juice container on the base so that the juice spout is located
on the same side as the locking handle!
3) Ensure that the filter is properly located in the juice container, i.e.
the opening on the underside of the filter should be placed on the
spindle of the juice container.
4) Fit the blade unit over the pin in the filter. An accessory is provided
for tightening the blade unit – NEVER leave this in the appliance!
You should tighten the blade unit with a clockwise movement.
5) Place the lid on the juice container with the juice spout. Now lock the
appliance by clicking the locking handle over the lid. The appliance
will only work when everything is locked in position!
6) Place the juice container under the pulp outlet.
7) Always use the filling shaft to put vegetables and/or fruit into the
appliance. Never use force – take it easy and let the blades do the
work!
PREPARATION OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES
Important: Only use fruit that is properly ripened, otherwise the filter will block up quickly. Wash or peel
the fruit or vegetables. Fruits with large seeds or stones should always have these removed first. Those
with small pips (such as apples and pears) can be processed whole, including the skin and core. Fruits
with thick rinds (such as citrus fruits, melons, kiwis and beetroots) should be peeled first before
processing. Always remove the thick stalks from grapes. In the case of leaf vegetables (such as spinach),
the leaves should be rolled up firmly and then pushed through the filling shaft. Always cut fruit and
vegetables into pieces small enough to pass through the filling shaft.
