• Never immerse the motor housing or base element in water or any other liquid.
• Only use the juicer if the lid is properly positioned.
Do not tighten or loosen the clips if the juicer is in use.
• Do not use the juicer if the clips are loose and the switch is on ON.
• Never stick your fingers or any other objects into the openings when the appliance is in use. If food
builds up around the opening, use the plunger or another piece of fruit or vegetable to push it down.
• Do not run the juicer for more than 4 minutes at one time, to prevent damage to the motor. After 4
minutes, turn off the appliance and leave it to cool down for 2 minutes before using it again.
• Do not put too much food into the appliance and do not use too much force when pushing the food into
the appliance.
• After use, wipe the motor base with a damp cloth.
• Do not use any utensils except those supplied with the appliance.
• Do not use the appliance if the filter is damaged.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory
or mental capacities or lack of experience and knowledge unless they have been given supervision or
instruction on the use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
WARNING
THE BLADE IS SHARP. THEREFORE ALWAYS USE THE PLUNGER. TAKE CARE WITH ALL
MOVING PARTS. NEVER STICK YOUR FINGERS INTO THE INLET FUNNEL OR THE OUTLETS.
UNPLUG THE CORD FROM THE SOCKET, IF YOU WANT TO CLEAN THE JUICER OR ADD OR
REMOVE PARTS.
BEFORE USING
• Practice taking the appliance apart and reassembling it before you start using it the first time.
DISASSEMBLY AND REASSEMBLY
Always pull the plug out of the socket first!
• First practice dismantling the appliance a few times.
• The juicer has a safety mechanism that does not work if the parts are not correctly positioned.
• Release the clips by pulling them outwards from the bottom.
• Remove the lid. Remove the blade unit/filter. NB: the interior is sharp and the filter is very fragile!
Remove the separator.
• You can then remove the pulp and juice reservoir.
• To reassemble, reverse this sequence.
• Rotate the blade unit/filter so it drops into the separator.
• Carefully close the lid and attach both clips.
(First clip onto the lid, and then press against the housing. Only operate the ON/OFF switch following
this.)
USE
• This appliance is equipped with a safety system that ensures that it stops functioning if the lid is not
correctly in place or the clips are not attached.
• Before putting the plug in the socket, you need to set the switch to OFF and ensure the clips are
attached.
• Cut the fruit or vegetable into small pieces, so that it can fit into the funnel.
• Remove the pips and peel of fruit like peaches, plums, apricots, cherries, oranges, lemons, melons, etc.
• Switch on the appliance.
• Put the cut up chunks of vegetable or fruit in the juicer and push them slowly down with the plunger.
• Put a glass or jug under the juice spout or use the juice reservoir supplied. Always make
sure that the motor is running when putting fruit or vegetables in the appliance.
• Fruit or vegetables can be inserted consecutively, without the appliance needing to be
switched off.
• To empty the pulp reservoir, switch off the appliance and pull the reservoir on the handle
out (after detaching the lid). Put the reservoir back in the same way.
Please note: Don’t leave the juicer running unnecessarily if empty!
REMARKS
You can process various kinds of fruit and vegetables without having to clean the appliance
in between. No mixing of flavours will occur.
