Read these instructions carefully before you use the mixer, and keep them in a safe place for future refe-

rence. Check that the voltage of your domestic electrical supply conforms to the voltage indicated on the

appliance. This mixer has the following controls and components:

1. eject button

2. mixer head

3. unlocking button

4. mixer stand

5. indicator light

6. turbo button

7. speed button

8. power cord

9. on/off switch

10. mixing bowl

11. turntable

12. dough hooks

13. square whisks

14. balloon whisk

USING THE MIXER

1. If you are using the mixer for the first time, wash the whisks, the dough hooks and the mixing bowls

first in warm water and detergent. Rinse, and dry carefully afterwards.

2. Place the turntable on the plate or on the stand, and be sure to insert the projection on the underside

into the opening that is intended for the size of mixing bowl that you are using. The small (or large) ridge

on the underside of the mixing bowl will then drop into the matching hollow in the turntable.

3. Never leave the mixer on continuously for more than 10 minutes, and always allow it to cool off for 15

minutes after use.

FITTING THE WHISKS AND DOUGH HOOKS

Turn the on/off switch to "OFF" and remove the plug from the electrical socket.

Swing the mixer head up completely in order to fit the square whisks. The square whisks with the

hexagonal collar * fit into the hexagonal opening on the underside of the mixer. The square whisks with

the round collar O fit into the round opening on the underside of the mixer. The symbols on the underside

of the mixer indicate which whisk should be fitted into which opening.

Swing the mixer head up completely in order to fit the balloon whisk. The balloon whisk with the

hexagonal collar fits into the hexagonal opening on the underside of the mixer. The symbols on the

underside of the mixer indicate which whisk should be fitted into which opening.

Fit the whisks by pushing the spindle into the opening and turning slightly if necessary until they click

into place. Do not mix the whisks up, as they only fit into one opening.

Swing the mixer head up completely in order to fit the dough hooks. The dough hook with

the hexagonal collar fits into the hexagonal opening on the underside of the mixer, and the

dough hook with the round collar fits into the round opening on the underside of the mixer.

The symbols on the underside of the mixer indicate which dough hook should be fitted

into which opening. If necessary, turn the hooks slightly until they click into place. Fit the

dough hooks into the correct opening, as they will only fit into one.
