U.K. WIRING INSTRUCTIONS

The wires in the mains lead are coloured in accordance with the following code:

BLUE-neutral

BROWN-LIVE

As the colours of the wire in the mains lead of this appliance may not correspond with the colour mar-

kings identifying the terminals on your plug, proceed as follows:

The wire which is coloured BLUE must be connected to the terminal which is marked with the

letter N or coloured black.

The wire which is coloured BROWN must be connected to the terminal which is marked

with the letter L or coloured red.

NEITHER CORE should be connected to the earth terminal of a three pin plug marked with

the letter E or or coloured green and yellow.

With this appliance, if a 13 amp plug is used a 3 amp fuse should be fitted. If any other type

of plug is used a 5 amp fuse must be fitted either in the plug or at the distribution board.

TIPS FOR USE

The PRINCESS SILVER MILKSHAKER works best when processing small amounts of food at once.

Do not fill the cup farther than the ‘max’ line. You will obtain the best results with cooled drinks (from

the refrigerator). Low-fat milk froths up the best. Add syrup, sugar and other thicker ingredients just

before mixing to prevent them from sinking to the bottom. Important: the PRINCESS SILVER MILK-

SHAKER is not a slicer; pieces of fruit and such will not be finely chopped. If you do want to use fresh

fruit you must first slice it into thin pieces. Place the cup with the ingredients on the supports and switch

on the motor. A mixing time of two minutes or less is usually sufficient for most mixtures. You may

have to experiment a bit before you find just the right mixing time for each recipe. If the motor stops or

you hear that it is running more slowly, switch off the milkshaker immediately. Wash the cup and the

mixing rod immediately after use.

CLEANING

FIRST REMOVE THE PLUG FROM THE OUTLET

Clean the milkshaker after every use; this will prevent bits of food from caking on. The mixing disc is

easy to clean: fill the cup with warm water and switch on the milkshaker with the mixing disc in the

water. Do not use any abrasive or aggressive cleaners. The outside can be cleaned with a damp cloth.

NEVER IMMERSE THE BASE OF THE MOTOR IN WATER OR ANY OTHER LIQUID.

PRINCESS TIPS

- Do not use the milkshaker continuously for longer than 2 minutes.

- This milkshaker is suitable for household use only.

- Make sure that the lead or any extension cord is placed safely out of the way so that no one can trip

over it.

- If the milkshaker or lead is damaged, we recommend that you return it to the shop for repair.

A damaged lead can only be replaced by the service department.

- Do not use this milkshaker outdoors.

- Monitor the milkshaker when children are nearby.
