Cooking with the blender
Cooking with the blender is suitable for food that does not need to be shred-
ded, e.g. sauces, soups, stew, jam.
Steaming with the simmering basket
If you want to steam foods such as potatoes, vegetables, or fruits, use the
simmering basket in the blender.
1. Fill the blender with ½ to 1 liter of water.
CAUTION:
Half a liter of water will be evaporated after approx. 30 minutes of
operation!
2. Set the steaming time: Refer to the table below and add approx. 10
minutes respectively. This is the time the water needs to come to a boil
and generate steam.
3. Select a temperature of 110 °C.
4. Select speed setting 1.
5. Press the START/STOP button to start.
Cooking with the steam attachment
If you want to steam different foods simultaneously, use the steam attach-
ment.
• Slightly grease the steam container and the insert to prevent foods such
as sh or meat from sticking to it.
• Cut food into pieces of the same size in order for them to cook evenly.
• Place food that requires a longer cooking time into the lower steam
container. Place food that requires a shorter cooking time into the upper
insert.
• Add spices or herbs to the water in the blender for additional taste. Do
not use any thickening agent for sauces when steaming. Those would
affect the cooking process.
• Follow steps 1 - 5 as described above.
