Maintenance of the chain wheel
Most difficulties with the chain are caused by in-
correct stretching of the chain or late replacement
of the chain wheel. The chain wheel is not expen-
sive. However, the worn chain wheel can very fast
damage the rest non-damaged part of the expen-
sive tool cut set. Do not save up on the replace-
ment of the chain wheel!

❏ Replace the chain wheel always when the tra-
ces after wearing in the areas marked with an
arrow reach (picture 14) about 0,4 mm!
Strongly worn chain wheel can break in
two during the cut!
Lubrication and cleaning
The chain saw CCP 380 does not require any spe-
cial maintenance and treatment. We reccommend
to clean the machine regularly. Remove dust, re-
sin and other dirt.
- If you use detergents containing diluents, you
can damage painted surfaces or plastic parts.
If you use such detergents, we reccommend
that you try the effect of these detergents first
on some small hidden area.
- Rub gliding wax into the contiguous area of
the sleigh, which will protect it from pollution
and at the same time will make your work ea-
sier.
Replacement of the carbon
brushes
Before starting all the service works
take the plug of the movable supply out
of the socket!
- Screw out both plastic covers of the brushes
with the help of the wide screw-driver or a coin
(picture 1, pos.10).
- Take the old brushes out.
- Clean the hole and the plastic covers.
- Insert new brushes and fasten the covers
firmly.
Use self-disconnecting original brus-
hes only!
After switching the machine off the electronic bra-
ke will automatically activate. Running down of the
motor shortens significantly this way. The brake of
the motor does not need any maintenance.
Pass the machine, its accessories and wrappings
to recycle after the end of their applicability.
All the plastic parts are marked to enable clean re-
cyclation of each type.
Repairs within and after the guarantee period are
performed by service workshops stated in the
summary.
