De breedte van de drager moet tussen de 11 en 17 cm liggen, de dikte (diameter) tussen de 10 en 22 mm
en het draagvermogen moet minimaal 35 kg zijn. Gebruik het zitje alleen op fi etsen die geschikt zijn om
het extra gewicht te dragen.
Gereedschap
Het zitje kan zonder gereedschap gemonteerd worden.
Voor montage van de Qibbel voetsteunen heeft u als gereedschap nodig:
- standaard inbussleutel 5.
Voor montage of demontage van de veiligheidsgordel heeft u als gereedschap nodig:
- een kruissroevendraaier.
Veiligheid
Voor een veilig 6+ Junior zitje heeft u nodig:
- zitje met geïntegreerde bevestiging
- 2 stevige inklapbare voetensteunen (ook los als accessoire verkrijgbaar)
- veiligheidsgordel
U kunt uw 6+ Junior zitje uitbreiden met de volgende accessoires:

Wij geven twee jaar garantie op fabricage- en/of materiaalfouten. De garantie gaat in op de datum van
aankoop, bewaar daarvoor uw aankoopbewijs.
MONTAGEHANDLEIDING ZITJE

Bevestig het zitje op de bagagedrager door het klemmechanisme aan te passen aan de breedte van de
bagagedrager. De klem heeft een veiligheidssluiting. De veiligheidssluiting bestaat uit een grijze knop en
een rode ring. De klem kan alleen maar versteld worden als 2 handelingen tegelijk worden uitgevoerd. De
eerste handeling is het indrukken van de knop en het naar buiten trekken van de rode ring. Dus de grijze
knop en de rode ring moeten worden samengeknepen. Alleen dan kan de klem gedraaid worden.
Om de klem vast te zetten, draai met de klok mee. Om de klem los te draaien, draai tegen de klok in.
Zorg ervoor dat de haken goed om de zijkanten van de bagagedrager zijn geplaatst. Gebruik, indien van
toepassing, de inzetstukken voor een goede klemming van het zitje op de drager. Voor het plaatsen van de
inzetstukken moeten eerst de antislip strips uitgenomen worden. Plaats de inzetstukken en vervolgens de
antislip strips terug in de klem.
Zowel met als zonder de inzetstukken moeten de antislip strips gebruikt worden. Deze klik je in de
bagagedragerklem of de inzetstukken. Vergeet dit niet want hiermee vergoot je de grip van het stoeltje op
de fi ets en bescherm je ook de bagagedrager tegen beschadigen.

Controleer of het zwaartepunt van het zitje niet meer dan 10 cm achter de achteras van de fi ets ligt.
Plaats uw kind in het zitje en controleer of er voldoende afstand is tussen het zadel en de voorkant van
het zitje om uw kind comfortabel te laten zitten. Om de positie van het zitje te veranderen, maakt u het
klemmechanisme los en beweegt u het zitje naar voren of naar achteren langs de drager. Draai vervolgens
het klemmechanisme zo strak mogelijk vast.

Demonteer eerst de 2 kruiskopschroeven met de ronde plaatjes aan de achterkant van het zitje. Gebruik
hiervoor een kruiskopschroevendraaier PH2. Haal de schroeven door de corresponderende gaten van
de gordel en draai de ronde plaatjes ligt aan (moment 1,0 Nm). De veiligheidsgordel bestaat uit een
driepuntssluiting. Deze kunt u losmaken door de sluiting op 3 punten tegelijk in te drukken.

Geschikt voor ronde en ovale buis Ø 16 – 21 mm. Draai de moeren los. Haal het kunststof blokje met de
metalen beugel uit de voetsteun. Schuif de metalen beugel vervolgens uit het kunststof blokje. Voor de
montage: klem het metaal om het frame, schuif het blokje terug. Monteer de voetsteun om het kunststof
blokje. Draai de moeren stevig aan (moment 8,0 Nm) met inbussleutel 5.
Tip: Wilt u het zitje op meerdere fi etsen gebruiken koop dan extra voetsteunen.

Als diefstalbeveiliging kunt u het zitje met het leverbare slot borgen. Dit doet u door de kabel van het slot
door een gat van de bevestiging te halen en om het frame te borgen.
WAARSCHUWING: AANWIJZINGEN VOOR VEILIG GEBRUIK
* Controleer of het gebruik van het Qibbel zitje wettelijk is toegestaan in het land waar u het zitje wilt
gebruiken.
* Het zitje is bestemd voor kinderen van ongeveer 6 tot 10 jaar, of maximaal 35 kg. Jongere kinderen neemt
u veilig mee in een Qibbel voorzitje of achterzitje.
* Het totaal gewicht van de fi etser, het kind en het stoeltje mag de voor de fi ets toegestane maximum
lading niet overschrijden. Controleer de informatie van de fabrikant van de fi ets.
* Monteer voetsteunen op de juiste hoogte voor jouw kind. Attendeer je kind erop dat de voeten zich dicht
bij het draaiende wiel bevinden en bij verkeerd gebruik tussen de spaken kunnen komen.
* Maak na de montage van het stoeltje en voetsteunen een proefrit met uw kind. Contoleer of alle
onderdelen van de fi ets normaal werken nadat het zitje is aangebracht. Kijk of het prettig fi etst, uw kind
goed zit, alle onderdelen stevig gemonteerd zijn en de hoogte van de voetsteunen juist is.
* Zet uw zadel op zodanige hoogte dat u gemakkelijk uw voeten op de grond kunt zetten bij het op- en
afstappen.
* Houd tijdens het rijden in de gaten of er geen lichaamsdelen of kleding in de buurt van draaiende
of bewegende delen van de fi ets komen, bijvoorbeeld een voet bij de spaken of een vinger bij het
mechanisme van de rem. Check dit regelmatig opnieuw als het kind ouder wordt.
* Gebruikt u een zadel met veren, zorg dan dat het kind niet met de vingers tussen de veer geklemd kan
raken door een afschermkapje om de veer te plaatsen. Dit kapje is verkrijgbaar bij de speciaalzaak.
* Let erop dat het kind niet met scherpe voorwerpen in aanraking kan komen zoals bijvoorbeeld met een
rafelige kabel.
* Zorg ervoor dat uw kind voldoende warm gekleed en tegen de regen beschermd is. Tijdens de fi etsrit zit
uw kind stil en is het daardoor gevoeliger voor kou.
* Gebruik bij voorkeur een goed passende veiligheidshelm voor extra veiligheid van uw kind.
* Als het zitje lang in de zon staat, kan dit erg warm worden. Let op voordat u uw kind in het zitje plaatst.
* Verwijder het zitje als u de fi ets op een fi etsendrager met de auto vervoert. Door luchtturbulentie kan het
zitje of de bevestiging ervan losraken en mogelijk een ongeval veroorzaken.
WAARSCHUWING
* Bevestig geen extra bagage aan het kinderzitje. Als u bagage wilt vervoeren gebruik dan een voordrager.
* Verander zelf nooit iets aan het zitje en de meegeleverde bevestiging, anders beïnvloedt u de veiligheid
bij gebruik en vervalt ook de garantie.
* Houd er rekening mee dat het fi etsgedrag verandert als u een kind vervoert, met name het evenwicht,
het sturen en het remmen.
* Laat uw kind nooit alleen achter op het zitje als u uw fi ets neerzet.
* Gebruik het zitje niet als er zichtbare beschadigingen of defecten aanwezig zijn.
ONDERHOUD
* Maak het zitje regelmatig schoon met zeepsop.
* Controleer regelmatig of alle bevestigingen etc. nog goed vastzitten.
* Na een ongeval moet het zitje altijd vervangen worden, ook als er geen zichtbare schade is. Informeer
hierover bij uw leverancier.
* Als een onderdeel van het zitje defect of beschadigd is neem dan contact op met uw leverancier voor
advies of reparatie.

The width of the rack should be between 11 and 17 cm, the diameter of the frame between 10 and 22 mm
and the load-bearing capacity should be at least 35 kg. Only use the seat on bicycles that are suitable for
carrying the additional weight.
Tools
The seat can be fi tted without using tools.
The following tool is required to assemble the Qibbel foot supports:
- standard Allen key 5
For assembly or disassembly of the safety belt you need the following tool:
- a cross screwdriver
Safety
To safely secure the Junior 6+ seat, you will need:
- A seat with an integrated attachment
- 2 sturdy collapsible foot supports (also available separately as an accessory)
- Seat belt
You can add to your Junior 6+ seat the following accessories:

We provide a two-year warranty on manufacturing and/ or material errors. The warranty enters into effect
on the date of purchase, so please retain your proof of purchase.

Attach the seat to the carrier by adjusting the clamping mechanism to the width of the carrier.
The clamp has a safety clasp. The safety closure consists of a grey button and a red ring. The clamp
can only be adjusted if 2 actions are performed at the same time. The fi rst action is pressing the button
and pulling out the red ring. It means the grey button and the red ring have to be squeezed together.
Only then the clamp can be turned. To tighten the clamp, turn clockwise. To unscrew the clamp, turn
counterclockwise.
Ensure that the hooks are correctly positioned around the sides of the carrier. If necessary, use the inserts
for proper clamping of the seat to the carrier. Before placing the inserts, remove the anti-slip strips. Place
the inserts and then the anti-slip strips back into the clamp. Make sure the hooks are securely fi tted to the
sides of the carrier.
Both with and without the inserts you have to use the anti-slip strips. You click them into the carrier clamp
or the inserts. Don’t forget, because it will improve the grip of the seat on the bike and also protect the
luggage carrier against damage.

Check that the centre of gravity of the seat is no more than 10 cm behind the rear axle of the bicycle.
Place your child in the seat and check that there is suffi cient distance between the saddle and the front
of the seat to allow your child to sit comfortably. To change the position of the seat, loosen the clamping
mechanism and move the seat forward or backward along the carrier. Then tighten the clamping
mechanism as tight as possible.

First remove the 2 cross slot screws with the round discs on the back of the seat using a PH2 cross slot
screwdriver. Pull the screws through the corresponding holes in the belt and gently tighten the round discs
(torque 1.0 Nm). The seat belt consists of a three-point fastening system, which can be undone by pressing
3 points of the fastening system at the same time.

Suitable for round and oval tubes Ø 16-21 mm. Unscrew the nuts. Remove the plastic block with the metal
bracket from the footrest. Then slide the metal bracket out of the plastic block. For mounting: clamp the
metal around the frame, slide the plastic block back. Mount the footrest around the plastic block. Firmly
tighten the nuts (torque 8.0 Nm) with Allen key 5.
Tip: Buy additional foot supports if you wish to use the seat on several bicycles.

You can protect the seat from being stolen by using a lock that is sold as an accessory. Install the lock by
pulling the lock cable through a hole in the attachment to secure it to the rack.
WARNING: INSTRUCTIONS FOR SAFE USE
* Check whether use of the Qibbel seat is legally permitted in the country in which you wish to use the
seat.
* The seat is designed for children aged around 6 to 10 years, or a maximum of 35 kg. You can safely take
younger children with you in a Qibbel front seat or rear seat.
* The total weight of the cyclist, the child and the seat must not exceed the maximum permitted load for
the bicycle. Check the information provided by the bicycle’s manufacturer.
* Mount footrests at the correct height for your child. Inform your child that the feet are close to the
spinning wheel and can get between the spokes if used incorrectly.
* After installing the seat and footrests, take a test ride with your child. Check to see whether all parts of the
bicycle are working normally once the seat has been installed. Look to see whether it pedals well, you
child is sitting properly, all parts have been fi tted securely and the height of the foot supports is correct.
* Set your saddle at such a height that it is easy for you to place your feet on the ground when getting on
and getting off the bicycle.
* When cycling, check to see that no body parts or clothing end up near the rotating or moving parts,
such as a foot in the spokes or a fi nger in the braking mechanism. Check this regularly as the child gets
older.
* If you use a sprung saddle, ensure that the child cannot get his or her fi ngers stuck between the springs
by putting a protective cap around the springs. This cap is available at specialist stores.
* Ensure that the child cannot come into contact with sharp objects, such as a frayed cable.
* Ensure that your child wears suffi ciently warm clothing and is protected from the rain. Your child will be
sitting still on bicycle rides, so he or she will be more susceptible to the cold.
* Your child should preferably wear a well-fi tting bicycle helmet for additional safety.
* If the seat is in the sun for a long time, it can get very hot, so take care before putting your child in the
seat.
* Remove the seat if you transport the bicycle by car on a bicycle rack. Air turbulence may cause the seat
or the attachment to become loose and may cause an accident.
WARNING
* Do not attach any additional luggage to the child seat. If you wish to transport luggage, please use a
front luggage carrier.
* Never alter anything on the seat or the attachment provided yourself, as you may affect safety when in
use and the warranty will no longer apply.
* Please bear in mind that the bicycle will perform differently when carrying a child, especially its balance,
steering and braking.
* Never leave your child alone in the seat on the back when you put down your bicycle.
* Do not use the seat if it has visible damage or faults.
MAINTENANCE
* Clean the seat regularly using soapy water.
* Check regularly to see whether all attachments etc. are still fi rmly secured.
* The seat must always be replaced following an accident, even if there is no visible damage. Please inform
your supplier if this happens.
* If part of the seat is faulty or damaged, please contact your supplier for advice or a repair.
