Rearward-facing use (60-105 cm)
We recommend to use RECARO Kio in rearward-facing position up to
size of 105 cm and max. 18 kg.
WARNING! It is mandatory to use rearward-facing up to an age of 15
months and a size of 75 cm. Even beyond this limit a rearward-facing
transport is the safest. For more details please read section: „REAR-
WARD-FACING USE (60-105 cm)“
Foward-facing use (76-105 cm)
Use of the seat in forward-facing position is permitted when the child is
older than 15 months and min. 76 cm tall.
NOTE! The indicator on the headrest shows the height of the child, from
which the seat can be changed to the forward-facing use at the earliest.
For more details please read section: „FOWARD-FACING USE (76-105 cm
and older than 15 months)“.
NOTE! Newborns and infants who are not yet able to sit up by themselves
(up to around 1 year) should, for orthopedic and safety reasons, always be
transported in the flattest recline position rearward-facing.
NOTE! The child should be clear of any loose parts while making
adjustments with the seat. Keep children away from the seat, during the
installation and de-installation in the car. There is a risk that child`s fingers
can be trapped and are injured by unavoidable scissoring actions.

Consigliamo di usare RECARO Kio nel senso opposto a quello di marcia
fino a un’altezza di 105 cm e a un peso di 18 kg.
AVVERTENZA! Fino ai 15 mesi di età e a un’altezza di 75 cm questo
è obbligatorio. Tuttavia, anche in seguito il trasporto del bambino nel
senso opposto a quello di marcia è la modalità più sicura. Per maggiori
dettagli leggere il paragrafo: “USO NEL SENSO OPPOSTO A QUELLO
DI MARCIA (60-105 cm)”.
Uso nel senso di marcia (76-105 cm)
Un uso nel senso di marcia è consentito a partire dal 16° mese di vita e da
un’altezza di 76 cm.
AVVISO! L’indicatore del poggiatesta mostra anche a partire da quale al-
tezza minima del bambino può essere consigliato il passaggio al trasporto
nel senso di marcia. Per maggiori dettagli leggere il paragrafo: “USO NEL
SENSO DI MARCIA (76-105 cm e a partire da 15 mesi)”.
AVVISO! Neonati e bambini piccoli non ancora in grado di stare seduti
da soli (fino a circa un anno di età) per motivi ortopedici e di sicurezza do-
vrebbero essere trasportati sempre nella posizione più sdraiata, nel senso
opposto a quello di marcia.
AVVISO! Prestare attenzione che il bambino sia lontano dalle parti mobili
durante la regolazione del seggiolino. Tenere lontano il bambino dal
seggiolino mentre viene smontato dalla vettura o montato in quest’ultima.
Altrimenti sussiste il pericolo che le dita del bambino rimangono incastrate
o vengano ferite in seguito a taglio.
