Your Vehicle
1. Choose a forward-facing vehicle
seating location with a 3-point seat
belt. Adjust the vehicle’s backrest into
the upright position. Be sure the area
is at and clear of objects that might
get in the way of installing the child
restraint.
2.
Place the Vivo on the vehicle seat.
Firmly push the Vivo / Vivo lite rearward
toward
the vehicle backrest, making sure
the booster is positioned at against the
bottom and back seating surfaces.

DEATH or SERIOUS INJURY can occur
• Restraint systems should be securely belted to the vehicle, even when
they are not occupied, since in a crash an unsecured child restraint
system may injure other occupants.
The Vivo / Vivo lite has three backrest positions to conform to the
vehicle seat (see Section 5: “Adjusting the Vivo / Vivo lite to Fit
the Child”). If there is interference in placing the Vivo / Vivo lite at
against the vehicle seat bottom and back cushions, adjust the vehicle
seat back angle or choose another seating position.
If the vehicle will be driven without a child seated in the restraint,
either fasten the 3-point belt around the restraint (see Section 4 for
belt routing) or store it somewhere outside the passenger cabin so
that it cannot injure anyone while the vehicle is in motion. RECARO
recommends storing the child restraint in a cool and dry location.
