•••
Cotton
Steam ironing is recommended
Linen
Turn the steam output control dial into the required position:
position the steam feature is disabled (dry ironing)
Turn the dial to increase/reduce the steam output.
Plug in the appliance. The auto shut-off and heating indicators will light up. Once the soleplate reaches
the required temperature the heating indicator will go out, informing that the iron is ready to use.
Dry ironing
Turn the steam output control dial into position. Use the spray button to dampen
hard-to-iron fabrics. You do not need to ll the tank with water for dry ironing.
Water spray feature
Ensure that water tank is lled with water. Press the water spray button :
slowly and smoothly for dense spray
quickly for vaporized spray.
Steam ironing
Fill the water tank at least ¼ full. For more powerful steam output turn the temperature
control dial into •• or ••• position.
Iron releases steam through the holes in its soleplate. Use the steam output control dial to
adjust the steam output.
Constant steam is only generated when the iron is in horizontal position and set to high
temperature.
If the steam feature is enabled (the steam output control dial is not in position) and
the temperature setting is too low, water may drip from soleplate.
Use the Steam Shot button to eliminate stubborn wrinkles by releasing a powerful burst
of steam from the soleplate. For better results allow an interval of 3-5 seconds between uses.
Vertical steam
Use vertical steam to steam hanging garments, curtains, drapes, etc. Turn the temperature
control dial and the steam output control dials to their maximum settings.
Hold the iron vertically a few centimeters away from the garment. Press the Steam Shot
button in short intervals, moving the iron from top to bottom. Return to horizontal
position every fth time you press the button.
If the heating indicator lights up, stop steaming and resume after indicator goes out.
Caution! Iron releases a powerful shot of hot steam. Never iron clothes on the body. Never
direct steam towards people or objects that can be damaged by hot steam!
Auto shut-off feature
The iron automatically shuts off when left unattended:
after 30 seconds in horizontal position or on its side
after 8 minutes in vertical position
The iron stops heating. 6 short audible signals are heard, auto shut-off indicator is ashing.
Lift the iron by the handle to resume ironing. The auto shut-off indicator will stop ashing,
the heating indicator will light up. Once the soleplate reaches the required temperature the
heating indicator will go out, indicating that the iron is ready to use.
After each use
Turn the temperature control dial into “Min” position, the steam output control dial into
position. Unplug the iron. Open the water tank cap and gently shake the iron above the sink
to empty the tank.
Place the iron into vertical position. Let the soleplate cool down at room temperature. Wind
the cord around the heel of the iron. Store vertically.
III. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Self-clean feature
1. To remove scale and other debris carry out the self-cleaning procedure 2-3 times a
month. The harder the water the more frequently the iron should be self-cleaned.
2. Fill the tank with water until the “Max” ll line.
3. Disable the steam feature (the control dial is in position). Turn the temperature
control dial to the “Max” setting. Plug in the iron.
4. After the heating indicator goes out, unplug the iron and hold it horizontally above
the sink.
5. Press and hold down the “Self-clean” button until hot water and steam are no longer
released from the soleplate. Swing the iron lightly back and forth. Steam and hot
water releasing from the soleplate will remove scale and other debris.
6. Open the cap and empty the water tank. Close the cap.
7. The soleplate can be wiped with damp cloth when cooled.
8. Repeat the self-cleaning procedure if necessary.
To clean soleplate
1.
