I . PRIOR TO FIRST USE
Carefully remove the multic ooker and its ac cessories from the packaging. Dispose of all

II . OPERA TING THE MUL TICOOKER
Place the appliance on a at, stable, and hard surfac e away from wallpaper , decorative
coatings, or any other objects or cabinets that could be damaged by steam, humidity , or
high temperatures.
Before operating, make sure that the outer and inner parts of the multic ooker have no
dents, cracks or any other visible damages. There should not be any obstructions between
the heating element and the bowl.
REDMOND RMC -250E Multicooker is equipped with a non-volatile memory. If a power
failure occurs the appliance will store the current settings in the non-volatile memory .
T o reset to default settings press and hold down the “Menu” button. A signal is heard,
the appliance is reset.
Plug in the appliance. Press and hold down the “+” or “ – ” button. “+” , “ – ” , and the “ ОК”
buttons and current time indicator on display will ash. Use the “+” button to increase
and the “ – ” butt on to reduce the current time value. After the maximum value is reached
the adjustment starts from the minimum value. Press and hold the c orresponding
button down t o scroll through the digits. Select the hour value, press the “ОК” , and select
the minute value. Af ter the current time is set press the “Reheat/C ancel” .
REDMOND RMC -250E Multicooker enables to adjust the default c ooking time of each
programme. Adjustment range and interval depend on the select ed c ooking programme.
T o adjust the cooking time:
1 . Select an automatic c ooking programme by pressing the “Menu” button. The “+” ,
“ – ” , “Start/ K eep W arm” , and “ОК” button indicators will ash. Press the “+” or “ – ”
button repeatedly until the display shows the required c ooking programme in-
dicator . As you navigate through the menu the display will show the default
cooking time of each programme.
2 . Press the “ ОК” ( the corresponding button indicator and the “C ooking time” in-
dicator light up) and adjust the cooking time of the selected programme. The
“+” , “ – ” , “Start / Keep W arm” , and “t°С” button indicators and the “ Cooking time”
indicator on the display will ash. If the “Time Delay” function is applicable for
the selected cooking programme The “Time Delay” button indicator will ash.
Use the “+” button to increase and the “ – ” button to reduce the time value. Select the
hour value, press the “ОК” , and select the minute value. P ress and hold the correspond-
ing button down to scroll through the digits. Aft er the maximum value is reached the
adjustment starts from the minimum value.
3 . T o cancel the adjustments press the “Reheat/Canc el” and start over.
The “Time Delay” function enables programmeming the appliance to start c ooking at a
specic time. A cooking cycle can be delayed between 10 minutes and 24 hours in 10
minute increments.

The function automatically activates at the end of a c ooking cycle and keeps the dish
warm at 75-80°С for up to 24 hours. “Star t/ Keep Warm” button indicator goes off,
“Reheat/C ancel” button is ashing slowly . Display shows “Keep Warm” count up.
T o disable “Keep Warm” in the beginning of cooking cycle press and hold down the
“Start/ K eep W arm” button until the “Reheat/Cancel” button indicator goes off. T o reac-
tivate the function repress and hold down the “Star t/ Ke ep W arm” button, the “Reheat/
Cancel” button indicator begins to ash slowly .
T o reheat cold food:
1 .
Follow steps 1-2 of the “Standard Operating Procedure for Automatic Pro-
grammes” .
2 . Press and hold down the “Reheat/C ancel” butt on. The button indicator will ash
slowly , the reheating cycle will begin. Display shows “Reheat” count up. The
appliance will warm the food up to 75°С and will maintain the temperature for
up to 24 hours. Press the “Reheat/C ancel” button to disable the function if
necessary (the button indicator goes off).
The function is not applicable for “ Y OGUR T” and “EXPRESS” programmes.
The “MASTERCHIEF” function allows to enter up to 10 time and temperature adjustments
during a cooking cycle and to save the entire sequence of adjustments to the memory
of the appliance, replacing the initial programme with the new one. The cooking tem-
perature can be adjusted betwe en 35°C and 170°С in 5°С increments, and the cooking
time can be adjusted 1 minute and 15 hours in 1 minute increments.
The cooking time of the “FR Y ” and “DEEP FR Y” programmes must not exc eed 2 hours,
to prevent ov erheating.
Enabling/disabling the “Keep Warm” function, without changing the cooking time or
temperature is not considered to be an adjustment.
The “MASTERCHIEF” function can be an extremely useful tool when following c om-
pasta, jams, etc.).

2 . Adjust the time. T o increase the time value in 1 hour increments press the “+”
button, in 1 minute increments press the “ – “ button. Hour and minute value
increase irrespective from each other. Af ter the maximum value is reached the
adjustment star ts from the minimum value. Press and hold the corresponding
button down to scroll through the digits.
3 . T o save the adjustments do not press any button for 5 seconds.
If the c ooking time is set to 00:00, the cooking cy cle will be stopped.
Do not enter more than 1 adjustment within a minute, because the appliance will
only save the last adjustment made. If the recipe requires to change both time and
temperature, press the “t°C” button after the time or temperature adjustment. The
appliance will save both adjustments as one.
Within 3 minutes after a cooking cycle is complete you can save the adjusted programme
to the memory o f the appliance, replacing the initial programme with the new one.
Display shows a 3-minut e count down in 1 second increments.
T o save the programme, press the “Time Delay” button. T o exit without saving press the
“Reheat/C ancel” .
When an adjusted cooking programme is selected, the display shows “ ---- “ inst ead of a
cooking time value.
