I . BEFORE THE FIRST USE
Carefully remove the unit and its acc essories from the packaging. Dispose all
packaging materials and promotional stickers.
Keep all warning labels, warning stick ers (if any), and the serial number
identication label located on the housing. The absence of the serial number
will deprive y ou of y our warranty benets!
After transportation or storage at low temperatures allow the applianc e to
stay at room temperature for at least 2 hours before using.
Wipe the motor unit with a moist cloth. Wash all removable parts, strictly fol-
lowing the instructions in «Cleaning and maintenance». All the removable parts
should completely dry at room t emperature before the assemblage. Ensure that
outer and inner visible parts of the grinder do not have faults, splits and other
defects.
I I . OPERA TION
The multipurpose meat grinder REDMOND RMG-1208-E is a multifunctional
appliance for food proc essing.
The meat grinder is equipped with an overload prote ction system of the motor
(e. g. if the bone gets into the grinder unit together with meat).
If the motor is unexpect edly stopped, press the ON/OFF button, unplug the
appliance and let it cool do wn for 30 minutes. Clean the loading tray from
remnants and plug in the appliance. The appliance is ready for operation.
CAUTION! The operation time should not exceed 5 minutes. A break should
not be less than 15 minutes.
Ground Meat Making
Prepare the food. Defrost meat and sh, remove bones and sinews. C ut the meat
in 20×20×40 mm pieces so that the y pass freely through the feed chute port .
Insert the screw into the meat grinder unit. Carefully put the blade on the screw
with the at surface out to wards the perforated disc. Put the perforated disc on
the screw . The recess on the edge of the disc should t the cog on the unit.
Put the retaining ring onto the meat grinder unit and turn it clockwise. Do not
apply e xcessiv e force.
T urn the assembled block clockwise to 45° and insert its shaft into the junction
box on the housing of the appliance. T urn the retaining ring until
it is tight.
Place the feed chut e onto the meat grinder unit.
Put the piec es into the feed chute. Place a bowl for ground meat under the unit
retaining ring.
Y ou are not advised to put bones, animal skin, frozen meat or large chunks of
meat into the feed chute as it reduces the servic e life of the appliance and
may c ause a breakdown.
Plug in the appliance. Then switch on the devic e pressing the ON/OFF button.
Use the cylindrical pusher to push meat piec es into the feed chute port.
Switch off the appliance pressing the ON/OFF butt on and unplug it.
Sausage Making
Prepare sausage ground meat. Soak the sausage casing in lukewarm water for
20 minutes.
Insert the meat grinder screw into the meat grinder unit.
Put the sausage attachment base onto the scre w . A recess on the edge of the
attachment should t the cog on the unit wall. Place the sausage attachment
on.
Put the retaining ring onto the meat grinder unit at op the attachment and turn
it clockwise. Do not apply exc essive force.
T urn the assembled block clockwise to 45° and insert its shaft into the junction
box on the motor unit. T urn the block counterclockwise until it clicks into place.
T urn the retaining ring until it is tight.
Place the feed chut e onto the meat grinder unit.
Put the ground meat into the feed chute. Place a at bowl under the sausage
attachment.
Plug in the appliance.
Tie an end of the casing and put it onto the sausage attachment. The knot
should be 1-2 cm away from the outlet port so that the ground meat would
stuff the casing tight.
Should the casing get stuck to the neck of the attachment, then wet it with
water .
Switch on the appliance by pressing the ON/OFF button.
Use the dismountable pusher to push the ground meat into the feed chut e port .
T ake the casing off the attachment once it has been stuff ed with the ground
meat. L eave some casing to make a knot.
Once the casing has been stuffed, switch off the appliance b y pressing the ON/
OFF button. Tie the loose end of the sausage. Then unplug the
device.
Stuffed Sausage (Kebbe ) Making
Prepare ground meat for both kebbe outer layer and stufng.
Insert the screw into the meat grinder unit.
Put the kebbe attachment base ont o the screw , and then put the kebbe attach-
ment onto the base.
Put the retaining ring onto the meat grinder unit at op the attachment and turn
it clockwise. Do not apply exc essive force.
T urn the assembled block clockwise to 45° and insert its shaft into a junction
box on the motor unit. T urn the block counterclockwise until it clicks into place.
T urn the retaining ring until tight.
Place the feed chut e onto the meat grinder unit.
Put the ground meat to make kebbe outer lay er into the f eed chute. Plac e a at
bowl under the kebbe attachment.
Plug in the appliance.
Switch on the devic e by pressing the ON/OFF button.
Use the dismountable pusher to push ground meat into the feed chut e port . A
hollow sausage will c ome out of the cone attachment. Crimp its end.
Switch off the devic e by pressing the ON/OFF button when the sausage is of
required length. Cut off the sausage with a knife by the k ebbe attachment.
Stuff the sausage with the prepared lling, crimp its end and form the kebbe
the way y ou like.
Unplug the appliance once you have nished making kebbe.
Use of Re verse Function
Use the reverse function in case y ou see there is much juice left in the cutting
block or squee zer unit and a dense cake of food has block ed the outlet
port.
If the squeezer is in operation at the moment, stop the rotation of the shaft by
pressing the ON/OFF button. Then press and hold down the REV button. The
screw will turn backwards moving the f oods towards the feed chute port. Release
the REV button in 10-15 sec onds and then press the ON/OFF button to resume
processing.
III . CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Clean all the attachments and parts of the squeezer right after
use.
CAUTION! Switch off the appliance and unplug it before disassembling and
cleaning.
Disassembling
T ake the pusher out of the feed chute port, remove the chute.
Press the detachable unit release butt on, turn the meat grinder unit to 45°
clockwise and detach it from the motor drive unit.
T urn off the retaining ring on the meat grinder unit, tak e out the detachable
parts (plastic attachments, perforated disc, blade, screw).
Cleaning
Wipe the motor unit with a damp cloth.
Clean the attachments and other parts with nonabrasive scouring
substances.
Do not clean the parts of the appliance in a dishwasher as they may tarnish
being affected by scouring substances.
Do not exc eed maximum temperature of 60°C while cleaning metal par ts of
the appliance in a dishwasher .
L et all parts dry at room temperature and natural ventilation.
DO NOT immerse th e motor drive unit, plug and power cord in water or k eep
in running water .
DO NOT use sponges with hard or abrasive surface, abrasive scouring sub-
stances and solvents (benzine, ethyl acetate and others).
Storage
Store the assembled appliance in a dry , ventilated place away from heating and
direct sunlight.

only in case an original warranty service c oupon with a serial article number
and an accurate impress of the c ompany o f the seller proves the purchase
date. This limited warranty does not c over damage caused by the failure to
use this product for its normal purpose or in acc ordance with the instructions
on the proper use and maintenance o f the product, or any kind o f repair
works. Do not try to disassemble the appliance and k eep all package contents.
This warranty does not c over normal wear of the applianc e and its parts
(lters, bulbs, non-stick coating, gaskets, etc.).
