I . BEFORE THE FIRST USE
Carefully remove the unit and its accessories from the packaging. Dispose all packaging materials and promotional stickers.
After transportation or storage at low temperatures allow the applianc e to stay at room temperature for at least 2 hours before using.
Wipe the motor unit with a moist cloth. W ash all removable par ts, strictly following the instructions in “Cleaning and main-
tenance” . All the removable par ts should completely dry at room temperature before the assemblage. Ensure that outer and
inner visible parts of the grinder do not have faults, splits and other defects.
I I . OPERA TION
The meat grinder REDMOND RMG-1211-7 -E is a multifunctional appliance for food processing.
See the appliance usage proc edure on the corresponding schemes: making mince — A2 , making sausages — A3 , making
kibbeh— A4, cutting — A5 .
CAUTION! The operation time should not exc eed 5 minutes. A break should not be less than 15 minutes.
Do not put bones, skin, frozen or coarsely cut meat into the meat grinder . It shortens the service life of the appliance and may
lead to its breakage.
Use of reverse function
Use the reverse function if liquid ac cumulates inside the cutting unit or the meat grinder unit and output product’ s solid mass
prevents it from owing.
If the squeezer is in operation at the moment, stop the rotation of the shaft by pressing the ON/OFF butt on. Then press and
hold down the REV button. The screw will turn backwards moving the foods towards the feed chute por t. Release the REV
button in 10-15 seconds and then press the ON/OFF button t o resume processing.
Overload protection system
The meat grinder is equipped with an overload protection system of the motor (e. g. if the bone gets into the grinder unit
together with meat).
If the motor is unexpectedly stopped, switch off the meat grinder , press O N/O F F, and disconnect from the power outlet. Clean
the working unit from foods. Press the overload prote ction button on the bottom o f the appliance, then plug in the appliance
and press O N/O F F. If the meat grinder still doesn’t work, apply to the service cent er.
III . CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
See the recommended methods o f cleaning different appliance parts in the table A6 .
CAUTION! Switch off the appliance and unplug it before disassembling and cleaning.
DO NO T immerse the motor drive unit, plug and power cord in water or keep in running water .
DO NO T use sponges with hard or abrasiv e surface, abrasive scouring substances and solv ents (benzine, ethyl acetate and others).
L et all par ts dry at room temperature and natural ventilation.
Store the assembled appliance in a dry , ventilated place away from heating and direct sunlight.

V. PR ODUCT WARR ANTY
We warrant this product t o be free from defects for a period of 2 years from the date of purchase. If the appliance fails to
operate properly within the warranty period and is f ound to be defe ctive in material or workmanship, we will repair or replace
it free of charge. This warranty c omes into force only in case an original warranty service c oupon with a serial ar ticle number
and an accurate impress of the company of the seller proves the purchase date. This limited warranty does not c over damage
caused by the failure t o use this product for its normal purpose or in accordance with the instructions on the proper use and
maintenance of the product, or any kind of repair works. Do not try to disassemble the appliance and keep all package c ontents.
This warranty does not c over normal wear of the appliance and its parts (lters, bulbs, non-stick coating, gaskets, etc.).
The service life and the applicable product warranty period star t on the date of purchase or the date of manufacture (if the
purchase date cannot be established).
Y ou can determine the manufacture date by the serial number located on the identication label on the housing of the ap-
pliance. The serial number c onsists of 13 digits. 6th and 7th digits of the serial number identify the month, 8th digit the year
of manufacture.
The service life of the product, established by the manufacturer is 3 years from the date of purchase, provided that the unit
is used and maintained in accordanc e with the user manual and applicable technical standards.
Environmentally friendly disposal (WEEE)
The packaging, user manual and the de vice itself shall be taken to the applicable collection point for the recycling
of electrical and electronic equipment. Do not throw away the electronic waste to help protect the environment.
Old appliances must not be disposed with other household waste but must be c ollected separately . Municipal
disposal of recyclable wastes is fre e of charge. The owners of old appliances are required t o bring it to a waste
facility centre. With this little extra effort, you can help to ensure that valuable raw materials are recycled and pollutants are
treated as appropriate.
This appliance is labelled in accordance with European Directive 2012/19/EU — concerning used electrical and electronic
appliances (waste electrical and electronic equipment WEEE).
The guideline determines the framework for the return and recycling of used appliances as applicable throughout the EU.
