Have you set the cooler so that air can circulate freely and ensure that the
refrigerating unit is ventilated?

Is the fuse in the plug of the 12V power cord intact?
If you cannot remedy the malfunction by yourself, contact our customer
service (see Point 11).
8.a Replacing the 12 V fuse in the plug
To replace the fuse first pull the red adapter sleeve (E) off the plug.
Then unscrew and remove the screw (G) using the correct size of
Phillips screwdriver from the top half of the plug (F). Lift the top half
of the plug off the bottom half (A). Carefully lift the contact pin (D)
out of the plug.
Fuse (C) can now be removed. If the thin strip of wire between the two metal
caps is broken, the fuse has blown and must be replaced.
Carefully place a new fuse in the gap between the contact springs
(B) before carefully reinserting the contact pin (D) up against the
front metal cap. Then screw the top and bottom half of the plug
back together (F + A) and replace the red adapter sleeve (E). The
plug is now again ready for use.
9. Disposal
Do not dispose of as household waste.
When you have finished with the appliance, please dispose of it in a manner
which respects and supports the environment in accordance with all relevant
regulations in force. Contact the local authority body responsible for further
information.
10. Warranty
This appliance is guaranteed for three years beginning on the day of
purchase under the following conditions:

All defects are exclusively due to faults in the material or faulty manufac-
ture and not improper use (the guarantee does not apply if the appliance
is run with supplementary or accessory parts of other manufacturers).
⦁
The claim is made within the warranty period.
⦁
The pur chase receipt indicating the date of purchase can be submit-
ted.
Claims other than the aforementioned right to remedy defects shall not
be covered by the guarantee. The defects can be remedied by repair or
supplying a substitute of equal value. Pack the appliance carefully before
mailing it and include a brief description of the defect. Include the purchase
receipt and send the appliance directly to our customer service by the most
convenient freight route.
You will not be charged for the repair work under warranty (material, work
and freight costs). The unit will be returned to you free of charge. If you do
not comply with the terms of warranty required for repair (exceeding the
three-year period, purchase receipt not enclosed, improper treatment etc.),
it is still possible to send in your appliance to our service department for
repair. In this case, your repair order will be carried out as economically
as possible. Our service department will be happy to give you information
regarding any costs, which might arise for the repair. In this case, your unit
will be returned to you with an invoice for the freight and repair costs. The
warranty period shall not be extended, nor shall a new warranty period begin
as a result of the repair of the appliance or replacement of individual parts.
Further or other claims, Further or other claims, par ticularly those in respect
of compensation for losses incurred pertaining to property other than the
appliance, are precluded insofar as liability for such is not obligatory in
law. Giessen shall be the place of jurisdiction, insofar as the purchaser is a
merchant who has been registered in the commercial register as a merchant.
To register a complaint, simply send the electric lid to our customer service.
