To make sure you will have lots of pleasure with your new Changing-Table Radiator, please observe the
following notes carefully, keep this instruction manual for future reference and pass it on to any user.
The Changing-Table Radiator immediately generates cosy warmth in the proximity of baby
changing-tables, but it can also be used to quickly heat up bath rooms, hobby rooms, hallways,
wind-sheltered porches and balconies. Infrared radiation makes sure energy-saving warmth will be
available within just a few seconds.
Important Instructions
Only use the appliance for the usage described in this manual; improper use will lead to loss of
guarantee.
Make sure your mains voltage is identical with the details on the rating label.
When the appliance is used as a changing-table radiator, the appliance must never be used unattended.
With infants the maximum radiation period must not exceed 15 minutes. The radiator must be at least
100 cm away from the child!
Avoid additional irradiation, like e.g. sunlight, or additional heat radiation sources since they can raise
the baby's body temperature to dangerous levels. Infants who have a temperature must not be subject
to radiation as this can cause excessively high body temperatures.
For Your Safety
• Keep the power supply cord away from all hot parts of the appliance, just like those of other neighbouring
electrical appliances.
• Never cover the Changing-Table Radiator - risk of fire!
Do not touch the protection grid during use - risk of burning!
Please note that the radiator will also remain hot for some time after it was switched off.
• This electrical appliance complies with the relevant safety regulations. If the appliance, the heating rod or
the power supply cord is damaged, immediately unplug the appliance. It must only be repaired by
specialists. Improper repairs may result in considerable danger for the user.
• Children and persons with handicaps of physical, sensorial or mental nature must not operate this
appliance without an adequate supervision and/or corresponding expert advice and safety instructions.
• Children should be supervised in order to ensure that they do not play with this appliance.
• Do not at all operate this unit with an external timer or a separate telecontrol system.
• When the power supply cords is exchanged, a cord of the type HO5VV-F or HO5RR-F must be used.
• WARNING: This heater is not equipped with a device for controlling the room temperature. This heater must not
be used in small rooms occupied by immobile people who cannot leave the room by themselves, unless a perma-
nent monitoring can be provided.
Assembly
The Changing-Table Radiator must only
be fitted firmly and horizontally to a wall.
It must not be fitted to the ceiling.
Minimum distances as per fig. 1 to walls and
ceiling have to be maintained.
The appliance must be installed at least 1.80 m
above the floor.
A minimum distance of 65 cm to all inflammable
materials like textiles, wood etc. must be
observed - risk of fire!
