• Please take care that the appliance is not moved during the maturing process to prevent

interruption of the fermentation process.

• Before use, clean glass container and yogurt cups thoroughly and rinse them with hot water.

The lid of the glass container is equipped with a venting valve.

• Before attaching the lid, ﬁrst open the venting valve by pressing the venting

button. The lid can be easily attached like this. After attaching it, close the valve.

• To remove the lid, ﬁrst open the venting valve by pressing the venting button.

The lid can be easily removed like this.

Place glass container / yogurt cups in appliance

• Put the ﬁlled glass container (with lid) respectively the ﬁlled yoghurt cups (with lids) into the inner pot

of the appliance.

• Attach the cover. Pay attention to the correct position of the cover.

Connect appliance to the mains

• First, plug in the power cord to the plug-in connection on the back side of the

appliance. Check for a tight and correct ﬁt of the power cord. When the power

cord is too loose, this may result in damage at cord and plug!

• Now, connect the mains plug to a socket.

• All pilot lamps in the display light up shortly. Afterwards the display shows

2 hyphens and additionally there is a ‘beep’. The appliance is ready for use.

NOTE: If there is no further activation of a button within the next 30 seconds,

the appliance will switch back to standby mode and both hyphens expire. By

tapping the button for programme selection again, the appliance returns to

operating mode.

Select a programme

• Touch the button for programme selection repeatedly, until the desired pro-

gramme is lit.

• A proposal for the maturing time is shown in the display. The time setting as

well as the pilot lamp of the respective programme are blinking (e. g.: pro-

gramme “Joghurt”).

NOTE: If there is no further activation of a button within the next 10 seconds,

the appliance will switch back to operating mode (2 hyphens in the display).

Change time setting

• If necessary, the maturing time can be adjusted individually. For doing so,

touch the button “+” several times for increasing the maturing time respec-

tively the button “-” for reducing the maturing time.

NOTE: The time can be adjusted in hourly steps.
