Screw back and tighten up the boiler rinse cap
with a coin. Put the brush support firmly in place.
On next use, press and hold down the
Restart button and the orange boiler emptying
indicator light switches off (fig.35).

Press the illuminated on/off switch and unplug
the generator.
Place the iron on the iron rest plate.
Press the cord reel button and guide the cord with
your hand (
fig.36).
Press the steam flex winding button on the brush
and guide it with your hand (fig.37).
Slide the brush into its housing (fig.38).
Store the steam flex of the iron (fig.39).
Leave the iron (and the iron rest) to cool down for
30 minutes.
You can now put your steam generator away.
A PROBLEM WITHYOUR GENERATOR
Problems Causes Solutions
The generator does not come
on.The thermostat light and
the on/off switch are not
illuminated.
The appliance is not switched
on.
Check that your appliance is correctly plugged in
and press the illuminated on/off switch.
No burst of freshness. The slideis not positioned properly.
Position the slide downwards in the
Fresh On
position.
The capsule is not positioned
properly.
Insert the capsule in its housing, pressing down
firmly until there is a “click”. Close the drawer again
by pushing it in horizontally until there is a “click”.
The capsule is empty. Change the capsule (refill capsule in the product
packaging – see § 11).
Droplets of water run through
the “Precision Steam Jet”
nozzle.
The soleplate is not hot
enough.
Decrease the steam output while ironing at low
temperature (steam output control dial on the
control panel).
Wait for the thermostat light to go out before
activating the steam control button.
Water runs out of the holes in
the soleplate or through the
diffusion nozzle along the
front of the iron.
Water has condensed in the
pipes because you are using
steam for the first time or you
have not used it for some time.
Press the steam control button away from your
ironing board until the iron or the brush produces
steam.
White streaks come through
the holes in the soleplate.
Your boiler has a build-up of
scale because it has not been
rinsed out regularly.
Rinse out the boiler when the orange indicator light
flashes (see § 15). If your water is hard, increase
the frequency.
You have already rinsed the
boiler and the orange “boiler
rinse” light is flashing.
You have not pressed for long
enough on the “Restart” button.
Hold the “
Restart
” button down for 2 to 3 seconds
to turn off the indicator light.
Brown streaks come through
the holes in the soleplate and
stain the linen.
You are using chemical
descaling agents or additives in
the water for ironing.
Never add this type of product in the water tank or
in the boiler (see § 4).
Your linen is not rinsed
sufficiently or you have ironed
a new garment before washing
it.
Ensure linen is rinsed thoroughly to remove any
soap deposits or chemicals on new garments which
have been sucked up by the iron.
The soleplate is dirty or brown
and may stain the linen.
You are ironing at too high a
temperature.
See our recommendations regarding temperature
control setting (see § 6).
Your linen is not rinsed
sufficiently and you are using
starch.
Always spray starch on the reverse side of the
fabric to be ironed.
STORING
CAUTION! Above all, you must not use
descaling products to rinse the boiler : they
may damage it.
