METHOD OF FITTING AND CONNECTING THE APPLIANCE
Before fitting or removing the appliance, ensure that the circuit supplying the appliance is properly switched off.
In accordance with the installation regulations, the supply circuit must be broken on both sides.
This circuit breaker must have a minimum contact gap of 3 mm.
To fix your radiator correctly, you must use screws and plugs appropriate to the type of wall on which it is to be fixed.
- Remove the front cover of the control unit (B, fig. 3) by removing the 2 screws (No. 2, fig. 3).
- Offer the radiator up to the wall, taking account of all the requirements and recommendations above.
- Mark and drill the 3 fixing holes (No. 3, fig. 5).
- Feed the supply cable into the control unit along the cable entry (No. 4, figs. 5 and 6).
- Fix the appliance to the wall, ensuring that the radiant part is horizontal (A, fig. 2).
- Unscrew the two cable clamp screws (No. 5, fig. 5) to free the bridge piece.
- Connect the neutral (blue wire) to the terminal marked N (No. 6N, fig. 5) and the live (brown wire) to the terminal marked L
(No. 6L, fig. 5)
- Refit the cable clamp bridge (No. 5, fig. 5) and tighten the two screws so that the cable is firmly gripped.
- Position the selection pull-cord (No. 7, fig. 3) correctly using one of the two possibilities available (No. 7a or 7b, fig. 5).
(The choice 7b requires the use of the accessory C: see fig. 4 for installation.)
- Refit the front cover of the control unit (B, fig. 3), using the 2 screws (No. 2, fig. 3) and fit the screw covers (included in the
accessories packet).
Ensure that the supply cable cannot come into contact with the radiant part (A, fig. 2a) of your radiator.
The angle of the radiant part to the wall (fig. 2b) can be adjusted between 10° and 30°.
This adjustment is not permitted while the appliance is in operation. It is recommended to wait 15 minutes after switching off the
appliance before adjusting the angle and to proceed as follows:
- Remove the 2 screw covers (No. 8, fig. 3).
- Loosen the 2 hinge screws so that the radiant part is free to rotate.
- Hold the radiant part in the desired position and retighten the 2 hinge screws.
OPERATION
The appliance is turned on by means of the pull-cord (No. 7, fig. 3). When turned on there may be a slight vibration, which should
stop after a few seconds.
