If your vacuum cleaner does not start
• The appliance is not plugged-in. Check that
the appliance is correctly plugged in.
4 • Cleaning the foam motor-
protection Filter
Remove the cover from the separator
(fig.19) and remove the Air Force System
separator (fig.20).
Remove the foam filter protecting the motor
(fig.30). Wash and squeeze out the foam
filter protecting the motor (fig.24).
Leave this foam filter protecting the motor to
dry for at least 12 hours before fitting it again
(fig.24).
Fit the foam filter protecting the motor
(fig.31) and the Air Force System separator
(fig.32). Fit the separator cover (fig.33).
IMPORTANT Every six months, wash the
foam filter protecting the motor.
IMPORTANT
If the HEPA filter is
damaged, change it. The HEPA filter ref.
ZR 0008 is available from your dealer or
Approved Service Centres.
TROUBLESHOOTING
IMPORTANT Do not use detergents, or
aggressive or abrasive products. The
transparency of the dust compartment
and/or the separator cover may change in
time but this does not affect the
performances of the appliance.
If there is no suction
• An accessory, the tube, the flexible tube or the
pipe between the suction inlet (11) and the
separator are blocked: unblock them.
• The separator is blocked. Remove the cover
(fig.19) and clean the separator filter grill.
• The black foam filter is saturated: clean the
black foam filter (see page 4 paragraph 2).
5 • Cleaning the seal of the
dust compartment
Remove the dust compartment as follows:
Lower the handle to release the dust
compartment and remove it (fig.13).
Clean the edges of the seal of the dust
compartment using a cloth (fig.34).
Fit the dust compartment (fig.17) and raise
the handle to lock the dust compartment
(fig.18).
6 • Cleaning your vacuum
cleaner
Clean the housing of the vacuum cleaner
with a soft and humid rag and let dry with a
dry rag (fig.35).
Wash the dust compartment in clear water,
then dry it with a dry cloth.
IMPORTANT As soon as your vacuum
cleaner starts to malfunction, and before
performing any checks stop the appliance by
pressing the Start/Stop switch.
IMPORTANT Allow this foam filter
protecting the motor to dry completely
before fitting it into the appliance again.
Ensure that this foam filter protecting the
motor is completely dry before fitting it to the
appliance.
IMPORTANT Shake the folds of the
HEPA filter to make the dust fall out.
IMPORTANT Do not insert the tool
between the folds of the HEPA filter to avoid
damaging it.
