he air that we breathe contains particles which may be
allergenic: mite larva and excreta, mould, pollen, fumes and
a
nimal residues (hair, skin, saliva, urine). The finest of these
p
articles penetrate deeply into the respiratory system, where
they can cause inflammation and alter the respiratory function as
a
whole.
(H)EPA ((High) Efficiency Particulate Air Filter) filters retain the
finest particles. Thanks to the (H)EPA filter, the air that is expelled
b
ack into the room is cleaner than the air vacuumed.
1 Emptying the dust compartment

fter each use, empty the dust compartment as follows:
- hold the dust compartment by the handle (without pressing on
the button) and remove it (fig.15).
- place the dust compartment upright above a dustbin and press
on the lid release button (fig.16).
- wash the dust compartment if needed in clean or
soapy water, and then leave to dry.
- press on "CLOSE" to close the cover (fig.17).
Refit the dust compartment (fig.18).
Make sure that the divider (14b) is not clogged.
2 Cleaning the black foam filter (16a)
Press the cover release button (fig.19).
Tip the cover backwards (fig.20).
Remove the black foam filter (fig.21) and then wash and
squeeze it (fig.23). Leave to dry for at least 12 hours before
refitting.
Reposition the black foam filter and close the cover.
3 Cleaning the microfilter (16b)
Press the cover release button (fig.19). Tip the cover
backwards (fig.20).

emove the filtration capsule (16) then separate the black
foam filter (16a) from the microfilter (16b) (fig.22).
W
ash the microfilter (fig.24). Leave to dry for at least 12
h
ours before refitting.

eposition the black foam filter and close the cover.
4 Nettoyez le filtre HEPA (15)
Remove the dust compartment (fig.25).
Open the access hatch to the HEPA filter and remove the
HEPA filter from its housing (fig.26). Clean the HEPA filter by
gently patting it over a dustbin (fig. 27). Replace it in its
housing and close the hatch until you hear a 'click' (Fig.28).
5 • Cleaning the air/dust separator
system (14)
Remove the hose from the vacuum cleaner.
Open the vacuum cleaner cover (fig. 19-20).
Press the separator release button (fig.29) then remove the
separation system (fig.30).
Remove the separation compartment (14c) by turning
slightly to the left (fig.31) and then separate the two
components (fig. 32).
Wash the components (14a+b and 14c) in clean water (fig. 33)
and leave to dry for 6 hours.
Refit the separation system components (14):
- reposition the separation compartment (14c) on the
separation system (14a+b) (fig. 34) by turning slightly until
you hear the "CLICK" indicating that it is closed (fig. 35).
- then reposition the entire separation system (14) in the
appliance (fig. 36) and close the cover.
6 Cleaning your vacuum cleaner
Wipe the body of the appliance and the accessories with a
soft damp cloth, then dry with a dry cloth.
Wash the dust compartment (11a+b) under clean or soapy
water, then dry with a dry cloth.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
I
MPORTANT: Always switch off and unplug your
vacuum cleaner before maintenance or cleaning.
Check and clean your vacuum cleaner and the
different filters regularly.
IMPORTANT: do not use the vacuum cleaner once
the maximum level (12) is reached on the dust
compartment.
IMPORTANT: clean the black foam filter every
month or when the vacuuming is no longer
satisfactory.
WARNING: let the black foam filter
dry completely and make sure that it is completely
dry before refitting on the appliance.
IMPORTANT: if the appliance does not perform as
normal after cleaning the black foam filter and
microfilter on your vacuum cleaner, clean the HEPA
filter.
IMPORTANT: Fit a new HEPA filter every 12 months.
HEPA filter (Ref. ZR902501) is available at your local
retail store or at one of our Authorized Service Centres.
ATTENTION: let the microfilter dry completely and
m
ake sure it is completely dry before placing it back
in the appliance.
IMPORTANT: clean the HEPA filter every 6 months.
IMPORTANT: clean the microfilter every month.
