26 Keep the bottom of the bin below the dustbin rim.
27 Press the latch on the front of the bin, to open the bottom.
28 Lift the bottom of the bin up to close it.
C CHECK THE FILTERS
29 Spread out some newspaper, and wear rubber gloves.
, Filters must be completely dry before replacing in the cleaner.
C PLASTIC FILTER (this is the one most likely to block)
30 While the bin is open, turn it upside down.
31 Turn the plastic filter 8mm anti-clockwise, then lift it out.
32 Wash it in warm soapy water, rinse, then air dry.
33 Drop it into the bin, and turn it clockwise to lock it in place.
34 Close the bin.
C MAIN FILTER & FOAM FILTER
35 Pull the main filter off the rear of the bin. This will expose the
foam filter – pull it off, too.
36 Soak both filters in warm soapy water for a few minutes, rinse,
then air dry.
37 Push the foam filter into the rear of the bin, then push the main
filter after it – the cloth side should be towards the foam filter.
38 Lower the bin into the cleaner.
C OUTLET FILTER
39 Use the tab on top of the cover to pull the cover off the cleaner.
40 Lift out the outlet filter.
41 Wash in warm soapy water, rinse, then air dry.
42 Fit the lugs on the bottom of the cover into the slots in the rear of
the cleaner.
43 Close the cover, and press it into place.
C CLEANING THE CLEANER
44 Switch the cleaner off and unplug it.
45 Wipe external surfaces of the cleaner with a damp cloth.
46 Wipe the tools and tubes with a damp cloth.
47 Don’t put any part of the cleaner in a dishwasher.
