SLICING/SHREDDING ATTACHMENT

ASSEMBLY
1. Remove the cover from the body by levering it off.
2. Fit the desired blade into the body. The open end of the blade should face outward.
3. Clip the cover over the front of the body.
4. Open the accessory drive cover (Fig. N). Make sure that the rear drive cover is fitted.
5. Fit the attachment into the drive at an angle (Fig P).
6. Rotate the accessory anticlockwise until it locks (Fig Q).
USING
• Use the coarse shredder and slicer for ingredientss that will be cooked.
• Use the fine shredder and slicer for ingredientss that will be used in salads and sandwiches.
• Chocolate, nuts, and cheese will chop/grind better if chilled first.
1. Cut the food to a shape that will go down the tube.
2. Put the plug into the power socket.
3. Select speed 4. Using the wrong speed may cause damage.
4. Remove the pusher, and drop the ingredients down the tube.
5. Replace the pusher, and use it to push the ingredients gently down the tube.
6. Switch the appliance off (0) and unplug it.

ASSEMBLY AND USING
Use the grinding cup for grinding small amounts of dry ingredients such as coffee beans, nuts, spices, etc.
1. Place the ingredients into the cup.
2. Screw the blade assembly onto the cup and tighten firmly.
1. Slide off the blending jug drive cover (Fig R).
2. Insert the attachment into the drive opening with the t mark on the attachment aligned
with the Umark on the mixer (Fig S).
3. Twist the attachment clockwise until the t mark on the attacment is aligned with the
Lmark on the mixer (Fig T).
4. Operate the motor in short bursts by turning the speed control to the Y position. Release the control
to stop the motor.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
Switch off (O) and unplug before cleaning.
Mixer:
1. Clean as soon after use as possible to prevent residues setting inside the bowl.
2. Wash the bowl, splash guard and attachments in warm soapy water, rinse, and dry.
3. You may put the bowl and attachments in a dishwasher, but note: the harsh environment inside the
dishwasher will affect the surface finishes. The damage should be cosmetic only, and should not
affect the operation of the appliance.
