6 INSTALLATION
All local regulations, including those referring to national and European standards need to be complied with
when installing the appliance.
Only an appliance connected by a qualified installer guarantees compliance with legislation on construction and
fire prevention. This is certainly required for safe and proper use of the appliance.
6.1 Positioning
The appliance shall be erected on floors with an adequate loadbearing capacity (see technical data). If an
existing construction doesn’t meet this prerequisite, suitable measures shall be taken to achieve it.
The appliance must be installed as level as possible. If necessary, readjust the legs (adjustable screws). To do
this, first screw the nut to the lowest position with a spanner (19mm). The feet can be adjusted along the
front, sides and back of the inset fire, but also through the inside of the combustion chamber.
In order to gain access to the adjustable screws through the combustion chamber, the firebricks and insulation
must be removed. The screws can then by adjusted using a hex key. The insulation ensures that the
combustion chamber is sealed, and thus must be repositioned after each adjustment.
1. Adjust feet convection mantle (6mm)
2. Adjust position of combustion chamber in
convection mantle (4mm)
3. Lock combustion chamber in mantle (always
unscrew when adjusting) (5mm)
