Some external devices connected to the TV via an HDMI cable can have issues, such as low
black level, low contrast, and dull colours. Use HDMI Black Level to adjust the black level to
compensate.

RGB444.

HDMI UHD Color
If an external UHD player is connected to the TV, follow these steps to convert the TV's HDMI
connector to a mode optimised for the UHD 50P/60P signals.

Each HDMI connector can be individually optimised for HDMI UHD Color. However, HDMI UHD Color is
available only with a video source featuring the specification of UHD 50P/60P 4:4:4 and 4:2:2.
1.
Turn off the external UHD player, and then disconnect the HDMI cable between the TV and the
external device.
2.
Navigate to Picture > Picture Options, and then select HDMI UHD Color. The Settings screen
appears.
3.
In the Settings screen, set the UHD player-connected HDMI connector to On. A popup window
appears.

Select Yes. The TV automatically turns off and then on again to set the selected HDMI connector
to HDMI UHD Color.

Before selecting Yes from the popup window, make sure that the HDMI cable is not connected to the
TV. The HDMI UHD Color settings will be completed only when the HDMI cable is not connected to the
HDMI connector.
5.
When the settings are complete, a confirmation message will be displayed. Select OK.

Connect the TV to the external UHD player using the HDMI cable, and then turn on the external
UHD player.

After setting the HDMI connector to On, it takes some time to complete the conversion.

If the HDMI connector with HDMI UHD Color enabled is connected to a device that does not support
UHD content, the device may not operate properly. If this is the case, set HDMI UHD Color for the HDMI
connector to Off.

The HDMI connector with HDMI UHD Color set to Off supports up to UHD 50P/60P 4:2:0, while the
HDMI connector with HDMI UHD Color set to On supports up to UHD 50P/60P 4:4:4 and 4:2:2. For
