1. Before using y our play er , full y charge y our device.
C onnect device t o your PC (PC has to be on).
2. A connected icon will appear on the device onc e a
minimum charge is established, which can tak e up to
30 minutes if battery is fully drained. Full charge tak es
up to three hours.
3. T o stop charging, unplug device. Batt er y indicator will be
complet ely gr een when fully char ged.
How T o Play Music
1. Select Music from the main menu. Pr ess the center touch
button to sel ect.
2. Swipe left or right to browse Artist, Album, Song, Genre or
Playlist. Swipe up or do wn to browse fil es within selection.
3. Pr ess the back button to return to the next menu l ev el.
Press and hold to r eturn to home menu.
4 . In the Pla y Screen swipe or tap left and right to skip
a song.
Y ou can personalize your de vice by
selecting Settings from the main
menu. On main menu, select
Settings and center tap Select
to access the many settings
options available.
Basic Settings
Personaliz e your Music, Video, Photo, P odcast & Book,
and General Settings*.
1. Select Music Settings, Video Settings, Photo Settings
or Podcast & Book Settings .
2. Selecting any of these options will allo w you to
personalize the Shuffle, R epeat, Orientation, Brightness,
Slideshow , Playback speed, etc., of your de vice,
depending on which option you choose.
3. When finished personalizing y our settings, press and hold
the Back button to return t o the main menu. Y our changes
will be saved aut omatically .
When listening to a song,
Sansa® Fuze™+
MP3 player
offers five options f or changing your listening experience.
Click center Select button to activat e.
1. Rate Song – (tap or swipe left -right to change)
• Rated songs with 4 and 5-stars automatically cr eates a
“My T op R ated” playlist, f ound under “Playlists” (the fifth
sub- option) under Music menu.
2. Shuffle – plays cont ent in random order .
3. R epeat – plays music songs continuousl y .
4. Add Song to Playlist – adds curr ently pla ying song to
Music Go List.
5. Delete Song – deleting a song from y our device (note: this
option will not delete the song fr om your PC playlists).

1. Download and install Sansa Updater .
2. Download and install the Sansa Media Con verter
application.
a. Connect y our Sansa player to the PC. The Sansa
Firmware Updat er should launch automatically .
b. Click to select the Sansa Media Con verter check bo x,
and then click Download Now .
c. Click Finish .
3. Launch the Sansa Media Con verter application.
Click Start then go to Programs > SanDisk >
Sansa Updater > Sansa Media Con verter .

Sansa® Fuze™+
MP3 player’s unique graphical user interface has a dedicat ed home menu for each of the 8 functional categories.
The location indicator ( dot at bottom of screen) shows y our position within the home and sub -menus.
Pressing the Play /Pause button will
immediately pl ay any sel ected item.
Pressing the Play /Pause button in the Music
main menu will play your l ast played song.
Swiping up and down in the main menu will scroll
through your 15 most recentl y played songs.
How to Navigat e
1. Swipe/tap horizontally to na vigate to main menu screens.
2. Press Select to choose a f eature.
3. Select cont ent, then press Play
Recentl y Played Mode
1. Press and hold Back button to return to home l evel.
2. Swipe/tap to Music home menu.
3. At Music home menu y ou can ver tically swipe/tap y our
15 recently pla yed tracks. Press Play to start playing.
4 . At this mode you can tap Back in order to get to
“now playing” song, which will appear as the associated
album art taking up most of the screen (see right).
5. From “now playing” mode swipe/tap to skip or rewind
a song.

To lock the device, quickly pr ess (0.5 second) on/ off button.
All the function ke ys, except volume c ontrol, will be disabled
once lock is engaged. Music will continue to pla y in
lock mode.
