34 Programming SATEL

Module: INT-GSM, Address n [n=module address] – settings of the INT-GSM module

with the given address will be used.

INT-GSM ID – individual identification number assigned to the INT-GSM module by the

SATEL server.

INT-GSM IMEI – individual identification number of the GSM telephone of INT-GSM module.

DLOADX key – a string of up to 12 alphanumeric characters (digits, letters and special

characters), used for data encryption during communication between the control panel and

the computer with DLOADX program via the INT-GSM module.

3.3 Local programming

3.3.1 Starting local programming

1. Connect the control panel RS-232 or USB port to the computer port (for the connection

method please refer to the INSTALLER MANUAL).

2. Start the DLOADX program and click on the button. A window will open in which

you should select the computer port to which the control panel is connected. Press “OK”.

3. On the LCD keypad connected to the control panel, enter the service code (by default

12345) and press the

key.

4. Using the  or  key, find the DOWNLOADING submenu and press the or  key.

5. When the arrow indicates the START DWNL-RS function, press the or  key.

To start the local programming function you can use the [service code] 01 key

shortcut.

6. Establishing communication will be signaled on the monitor screen by a corresponding

message.

3.3.2 Starting local programming “from pins”

If the control panel does not support LCD keypads, does not accept the service code, etc.,

you can use the emergency procedure of, so-called, starting “from pins”. The control panel

RS-232 port must be connected to the computer (the USB port cannot be used for the

emergency starting procedure). In the DLOADX program, indicate the computer port to which

the control panel is connected. Then, follow the procedure described in section “Starting the

service mode “from pins”” (p. 6).

Running the local programming “from pins” is not possible, if the DISABLE

DOWNLOADING option is enabled.

3.3.3 Finishing local programming

To end the local programming you can use the END DWNL-RS function ([service code]

DOWNLOADING END DWNL-RS).

The local programming function will be finished automatically after 255 minutes have elapsed

since the last use of the DLOADX program, and the service access was blocked or expired

during that time.

The local programming function must be disabled, if the control panel is to

communicate through the RS-232 port with an external analog modem, GSM module,

INT-GSM module or ETHM-1 / ETHM-1 Plus module (e.g. during remote

programming, event reporting, etc.).
