If the motor is overload, it automatically switches off as
a winding thermostat is inserted in the motor winding.
After a (varying) cooling period the motor can be turned
on again.
Defective Electric Connection Lines
Often, insulation damages occur on electrical connection
lines.
The possible causes are:
• Drag marks if connection lines are led through window or
door clearances.
• Kinks due to improper attachment or routing of the
connection line.
• Cuts caused by running over the connection line.
• Insulation damages caused by pulling the connection
line out of the wall socket.
• Fissures caused by the aging of the insulation. Such
defective electrical connection lines must not be
used and are, due to the insulation damages, life
threatening!
Regularly check the electrical connection lines for
damages. Please make sure that the connection lines are
disconnected from the mains supply during the check.
Electrical connection lines must meet the applicable VDE
and DIN regulations and the provisions of the local power
supply company. Only use connection lines labeled with
H07RN. The labeling of the connection cable with the type
specification is required.
• Extension lines up to a length of 25 m must have a cross
section of 1.5 mm2, lines with a length exceeding 25 m
must have a minimum cross section of 2.5 mm2.
• The mains connection is protected with a 16 A delay-
action fuse.
Threephase Current Motor
• The supply voltage must be 380-420 V/50 Hz.
• The connection to the mains supply and the extension
lines must be of a five-conductor type (3 P + N + SL).
• The extension lines must have a minimum cross section
of 1.5 mm.
• The mains connection is protected with a maximum of
16 A.
• In case of a connection to the mains supply or if the
machine is moved to a different location, the direction of
rotation must be checked. If required, the polarity must
be reversed (see also Fig. 03).
Connections and repairs of the electrical equipment may
only be performed by an electrician.
If you have further questions, please specify the
following:
• Motor manufacturer and type
• Kind of current of the motor
• Data from the machine type plate
• Data of the electric control
If you return the motor, always return the complete drive unit
with the electric control.
Operation of the kw 7, kwz 7
• Please observe the safety information before you turn on
the machine.
• All protection and safety devices must be installed.
• Only perform retooling, measuring, and cleaning work
when the motor is turned off. Disconnect the mains
plug, and wait until the rotating tool stands still.
• The rocking frame circular saw has been exclusively
designed for the trimming of firewood with a maximum
length of 1 m.
• Independent of the wood diameter, only one piece may
be put on the rocker.
• Hold the piece of wood with your left hand, and operate
the rocker with your right hand.
• Check the V-belt tension after the first working hour as
well as before each start of the machine.
Caution!
• If you work with crooked pieces of wood, the crooked
side must point towards the saw blade slot to prevent the
wood from turning over and getting jammed during the
cutting process.
Saw Blade Exchange of the
Rocking Frame Circular Saw
Fig. 04
• Only perform maintenance, repair and cleaning work as
well as the repair of failures when the drive is turned off
(disconnect the mains plug or turn off the tractor and
remove the ignition key).
• To exchange the saw blade, release the rocker internally,
and swing it out. (arrow)
• Swing back the bearing cover once you have loosened
the wing nut. Unscrew the wing nut of the saw blade
protection and swing the protection back as well.
• To fix the saw blade, put the clamping pin through the
lower saw blade protection.
• Loosen the saw blade using the provided saw blade
wrench.
• Reinstall the saw blade protection, the bearing cover,
and the rocker.
Operation of the kw 70m, kwz 700
• Please observe the safety information before you turn on
the machine.
• All protection and safety devices must be installed.
• Only perform retooling, measuring, and cleaning work
when the motor is turned off. Disconnect the mains
plug, and wait until the rotating tool stands still.
• Check the V-belt tension after the first working hour as
well as before each start of the machine.
Firewood Cuts with the Rocking Table Circular Saw

• Fold up the table until the catch (1) locks into place.
• Lift the stop clip (2) with your right foot, pull up the
rocker, and engage it in the upper position.
• The rocker of the circular saw has been exclusively
designed for the trimming of firewood with a maximum
length of 1 m.
• Independent of the wood diameter, only one piece may
