Data of the operating manual.

• When working outside, do not stand on slippery ground

and wear solid shoes.

• Do not misuse the cable. Protect it from heat, oil, and

sharp edges.

• Only use well-sharpened planing knives for better and

safe work.

• Maintain the handles dry, clean and free from oil and

grease.

• Before switching on the machine, remove all keys and

setting tools.

• When working outside, only use the correctly marked

and authorized extension cable.

• Keep other people, especially children, away from the

machine when it is connected to the power supply.

• Be attentive and pay attention to what you are doing.

Use your good sense and do not work with the machine

when you are not concentrated.

• Operating personnel must be at least 18 years of age.

Trainees must be at least 16 years of age, but may only

operate the machine under adult supervision.

• Persons working on the machine may not be diverted

from their work.

• The working space on the machine must be free of chips

and wood scrap. Disorder can cause accidents.

• Protect the machine from rain and moisture.

• Do not use the machine in a humid or wet environ-

ment.

• Store the machine in a safe place, so that nobody can

get injured or switch on the machine. Make sure that

the machine is not parked in the open or in a humid

environment without protection.

• Only use the machine according to instructions and to

the purpose it has been designed for.

• Do not use the machine where there is a risk of ﬁre or

explosion.

• When working with the machine, do not touch any

earthed parts (e.g. tubes, radiators, electric stoves,

coolers).

• Wear only close-ﬁtting clothes. Remove rings, bracelets

and other jewelry.

• Wear ear protection, goggles and a dust protection

mask.

• To protect long hair, wear a cap or hair net.

• For changing the planer/thicknesser knives, wear solid

gloves.

• Do not wear any gloves for working on the machine, with

the exception when handling rough work pieces.

• The safety mechanisms on the machine may not be

removed or rendered unusable. Cleaning, changing,

calibrating, and setting of the machine may only be car-

ried out when the motor is switched off. Pull the power

supply plug and wait for the rotating tool to completely

stop.

• Only a qualiﬁed electrician is permitted to connect the

machine and complete repairs on its electrical equip-

ment.

• After completion of repair or maintenance work, imme-

diately reﬁt all guards and safety devices.

• Before doing any repair work, switch off the machine

• Lors du travail en plein air, n'utiliser que des câbles de

rallonge autorisés et marqués.

• Tenir les enfants et d'autres personnes à distance quand

la machine est branchée au réseau.

• Faire attention au travail exécuté. User le bon sens. Ne

pas travailler sur la machine en état inconcentré.

• La personne utilisatrice doit avoir 18 ans au moins. Les

élèves à former doivent avoir 16 ans au moins, et tra-

vailler uniquement sous surveillance.

• Ne pas distraire une personne en train de travailler sur

la machine.

• L'emplacement de travail doit être maintenu libre de co-

peaux et de chutes de bois. Le désordre peut causé des

accidents.

• Protéger la machine de la pluie et de l’humidité.

• Ne pas utiliser la machine dans un environnement hu-

mide.

• Garder la machine dans un endroit sûr pour que per-

sonne ne peuve se blesser ou la mettre en marche. Ne

pas laisser la machine en plein air ou dans un environ-

nement humide sans protection.

• Utiliser la machine uniquement conformément à son

emploi prévu.

• Ne pas utiliser la machine dans un endroit où il y a un

risque de feu ou d’explosion.

• Lors du travail, éviter le contact des pièces mises à

terre (p.ex. tuyaux, radiateurs, cuisinière électrique, ap-

pareils frigoriﬁques).

• Porter des vêtements bien seyants. Enlever les bijoux,

bagues, et montres.

• Protéger votre corps en portant des lunettes protectri-

ces, des protège-oreilles et une masque antipoussière.

• Pour protéger les cheveux longs, porter une casquette

ou un ﬁlet.

• Porter des gants appropriés pour changer les couteaux.

• Lors du travail sur la machine, des gants ne sont pas

permis – à l’exeption lors du traitement de bois très

rugueux.

• Les consignes de sécurité, de travail, et d’entretien du

constructeur ainsi que les dimensions qui sont indi-

quées dans les données techniques, doivent être res-

pectées.

• Les branchements et réparations de l’équipement élec-

trique ne doivent être effectués que par un spécialiste

de l’électricité.

• Une fois les travaux de réparation et d’éntretien ache-

vés, tous les dispositifs de sécurité et de protection doi-

vent être remontés pour le travail.
