Window controls

Note

Before closing the rear lid, make sure that

the key has not been left inside the luggage

compartment.

To lock or unlock the rear lid, press the or

buttons on the vehicle key.

●Open: place slight pressure on the handle.

The rear lid opens automatically ›››Fig.57.

●Close: grip the rear lid by one of the handles

on the interior trim and move it downwards to

close.

If the doors are locked, the rear lid is also

locked.

A warning appears on the instrument panel

display if the rear lid is open or not properly

closed.

The rear lid locks automatically while driving.

When the outside temperature is around freez-

ing point, the opening mechanism cannot al-

ways raise the rear lid. Lift the rear lid by hand.

Note

If the rear lid is not opened within a few mi-

nutes of being unlocked, it re-locks automati-

cally.

The rear lid can be unlocked from inside in the

event of an emergency (e.g. if the 12 volt bat-

tery is ﬂat).

There is a groove in the luggage compartment

allowing access to the emergency opening

mechanism.

key in the direction of the arrow until the lock
