surfaces and objects .
It is not suitable for per sonal care
or pet grooming.

membranes . If necessary , rinse
the affect ed areas with wat er and
consult a doctor immediat ely .

• The cleaning brush corresponds
to pr otection type IP X5 and is
prot ected from w ater spr ay from
all directions when the batt ery
compartment is properly clos ed.
Howe ver , do not immerse the
device in w ater or other liquids.
Ensure that no wat er penetrates
the device while the de vice is
being used or cleaned.
Inserting / changing batterie s
1. Unscre w the battery
compartment lid.
2. R emove the battery holder .
3. Insert the batt eries
provided int o the battery
compartment as illustrat ed,
ensuring that the polarity
is correct (+/–).
4. Replace the batt ery holder
in the casing.
This only works in one
direction: Also pay at tention
to the arr ow on the bottom
of the batt ery holder .
5. Put on the batt ery
compartment cov er and
scre w it as far as it will go.
The batt eries need replacing when the heads ar e only rotating slo wly or
are not r otating at all. Replac e the used batteries with ne w ones of the
same type ( see “T echnical specifications”).
Fitting / changing the heads
CAUTION – material damage
The hard bristles on the brush head can scratch or damage sensitive
surfaces such as glass, car paint, stainless steel, copper, wood, etc.
If in doubt, test the cleaning brush first on an inconspicuous part of
the surface you wish to clean.

Cleaning the devic e
CAUTION – material damage
• When the battery compartment is properly closed, the device is
protected against water splashes. However, do not immerse it in
water or other liquids. Ensure that no water gets into the drive axle.
• Do not use abrasive or caustic products, or hard brushes, etc. for
cleaning the device.

2. Leave the he ads and in particular the polishing head to dry
completely bef ore storing the device .
3. Wipe the handle with a slightly dampened cloth.
Disposal
This product , its packaging and the supplied batt eries have been manu-
factur ed from valuable mat erials that can be recy cled. This reduc es the
amount of refus e and helps to pr eserve the envir onment.
Dispose of the packaging at a r ecycling point that sorts materials by
type. Mak e use of the local facilities pro vided for collecting paper , card-
board and lightw eight packaging.

Y ou are legally obliged t o dispose of old devic es separat ely
from household w aste . Electronic devic es contain hazar dous
substance s and, if stor ed or disposed of improperly , may

from y our local authorities.
Single-use batt eries and rechar geable batteries must not
be disposed of along with household r efuse!
Y ou are legally obliged t o dispose of all flat batt eries at a
local authority collection point or t o return them t o a battery r etailer .

to disposal.

Using the cleaning brush
WARNING – danger of injury due to rotating parts
• The rotating heads may throw off dirt particles or cleaning products.
Protect your eyes with protective eyewear if necessary!
• While in use, keep the device away from long hair, loose clothing and
similar. These may get caught in the rotating heads.
1. Mois ten the bristles ( or the surface of the foam head or polishing
head) and apply a suitable cleaning pr oduct, if necessary . Gel or
powder cleaning pr oducts are bet ter suited t o use with the device
than thin fluids.
Y ou can also spra y the surface you wish t o clean with a spray cleaner ,
for ex ample.

press the on/ off but ton.
4. Slowly mo ve the cleaning
brush over the surf ace.

again.
• Do not use the device on sensi-
tive surfac es which are not suita-
ble to be tr eated with the clean-
ing brush. The hard bristle s on

exc essive heat. R emove the
batteries fr om the product
when they are flat or if y ou do
not intend t o use the product
for a prolonged period.
This will pre vent damage caused
by leakage .
• Always replace all bat teries at
the same time. Do not mix old
and new batt eries and do not
use differ ent types or brands
of batt eries, or batt eries with
differ ent capacities.
When inserting the batterie s,
ensure corr ect polarity (+/–).
• Clean the contacts on the batter-
ies and device as r equired before
insertion. Risk of overhe ating!
• Do not use abrasive or caustic
products , or hard brushes, e tc.
for cleaning the devic e.
