Ittakes12minutesatmaximumtonishreception.

“Timedata”and“Calendardata”aretransmittedbyastandardfrequencyforoneminuteperonetime,

however,receptionisnotenabledunlesstheseriesofdatacompletelyarrives.The received data

frequentlyincludesnoise,etc.,andthewatchisstructuredsoastorepeatedlyperformreceptionin

ordertocheckthatthereisnoproblemwiththedata.Therefore,itrequirestimetonishthereception.

Ifthereceivingenvironmentispoor,itwilltakealongertimetonishthereception.Inaddition,please

laythewatchdownwithoutoperatingthebuttonsandthecrownduringreception.

Q:Whatisthebestwaytoreceivearadiosignal?

A:

Astandardfrequencydependsonthedistancefromeachtransmittingstation,geography(including

buildings,etc.),andweather.Ideally,placethewatchatthesideofa windowinthedirectionof

eachtransmittingstationbeforebedtimebecauseautomaticreceptionisperformedduringlate

night.Also,pleasesearchforaplacetoeasilyreceiveradiosignalstoattemptmanualreception.

Q:Whenisaradiosignalreceived?

A:

Astandardradiosignalistransmittednearlycontinuouslyfor24hours,however,aradio-controlled

watchdoesnotreceivearadiosignalthroughouttheday.Thewatchhasbeensettoautomatically

receivearadiosignalafewtimesadayduringlatenightwhenaradiosignalcanbestablyreceived.

Whenthewatchisunabletoreceiveradiosignals,itcanbeusedbyquartzmovement(accuracyof

loss/gain:± 15secondspermonth)asanormalquartzwatch.
