6.2 Commissioning

Please read the user guide with care before commissioning the sunrise alarm clock. In order to get familiarised with the sunrise alarm

clock, please read chapter 6.1 "Function keys".

Place the sunrise alarm clock on an even surface, e.g. on your bedside table. Plug in the adapter, plug in the connector socket of the

sunrise alarm clock, and then plug in the power adapter in the socket. The LCD display appears.

The sunrise alarm clock is operated as a back-up with three 1.5 V type LR6/R6/AA batteries. The batteries are already inserted in the

battery compartment of the sunrise alarm clock, however the contact is interrupted by a battery isolation strip which clearly protrudes

between the battery compartment and the lid. This strip can be pulled out without having to open the battery compartment.

Now you can set the time (see next chapter 6.3 "Time and date").

6.3 Time and date

6.3.1 Setting time and date

1. Hold down the " " key for approx. 3 seconds: The year flashes. Press the " " or " " key to set the year.

2. Press the "

" key: The month flashes. Press the " " or " " key to set the month.

3. Press the " " key: The day flashes. Press the " " or " " key to set the day.

4. Press the "

" key: The hours flash. Press the " " or " " key to set the hours.

5. Press the "

" key: The minutes flash. Press the " " or " " key to set the minutes.

6. Press the "

" key: The 12/24 hours format flashes. Press the " " or " " key to set the desired format.

When selecting the 24 hours format, the date is displayed in "day/month" format. When selecting the 12 hours format, the date is

displayed in "month/day" format.

7. Press the "

" key: The language flashes.

8. Press the "

" or " " key to set the desired language.

GE = Deutsch

EN = English

FR = French

DU = Dutch

SP = Spanish

IT = Italian

9. Press the "

" key: Time and date are set.

Note: For a quick forward of the figures, hold down the "

" or " " keys.
