Important safety instructions
READ CAREFULLY AND STORE FOR FUTURE USE.
■This appliance may be used by children 8 years of age and older, if they are
properly supervised or have been informed about how to use of the product in
asafe manner and understand the potential dangers. Cleaning and maintenance
performed by the user must not be performed by children unless they are older
that 8 years of age and under supervision. Keep the appliance and its power cord
out of reach of children younger than 8 years of age.
■The appliance may be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities or with alack of experience and knowledge, if they are supervised or
have been instructed to use the appliance in asafe manner and understand the
potential dangers.
■Children must not play with the appliance.
■Cleaning and maintenance performed by the user must not be performed by
unsupervised children.
■If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service
technician or by a similarly qualified person, as this will prevent a dangerous
situation from arising.
■It is forbidden to use the appliance if it has adamaged power cord.
■The kettle is designed for domestic use and similar places such as:
– staff kitchens in stores, offices and other workplaces;
– agricultural farms;
– hotel or motel rooms and other living areas;
– bed and breakfast establishments.
■If the kettle is overfilled, then boiling water could splash out.
■Only use the kettle with the base that was supplied with it.
■Take care not to spill water on to the connector when placing the kettle on to the
base and when taking it off the base.
■Wipe any surfaces that come into contact with food using asoft sponge lightly
dampened in clean warm water.
Attention:
Incorrect use may lead to injuries.
■The surface of the heating element and kettle body is remains hot after use due to
residual heat. Do not touch the hot surface.
