9.4 Database Update
When you have created a Database Backup le
then this feature can be used to update your
Channel Information with your backup data.
Press CH+- to select DATABASE UPDATE hen
press OK. You will see the top level Directory
highlighted. Press OK, you will now see the
folder DATABASE highlighted, press OK. Now,
using the CH+- buttons select the most recent
back up le that you created, the format of the
le will be “Dbase_20xxxxxxxxxx.bin where the
“x” represents the date of the le. Press OK and
your database will be
automatically updated.
9.5 PVR Partition Select
• Set as PVR Partition: With this utility you
can select the partition that you wish to be the
default location for the PVRRECORD folder
and also if desired format that partition. Press
CH+- to select PVR PARTITION SELECT
and then press RED Button. Using the CH+-
buttons select the PARTITION you want to
allocate for the PVRRECORD folder, then
press RED Button, the selected partition will
now be where your PVRRECORD folder
willbe located.
• Format: If you wish you can also format the
partition you are going to use as the location
for your PVRRECORD folder. WARNING,
USE WITH CAUTION – This will delete all
data from that partition. With your selected
partition highlighted press the BLUE (Format
Disk) button. Your disk will now have been
formatted.
9.6 PVR Preview
NOTE: You can access this feature directly
by pressing the PVR button on the remote
Control.
This facility enables you to quickly select
and preview any recordings that you have
made. You can also watch FULL SCREEN or
DELETE any unwanted recordings.
• PVR Preview: Press CH+- to select PVR
PREVIEW. Using the CH+- buttons select
the disk or partition where you store your
PVRRECORD folder. Press OK. You should
now see the PVRRECORD folder, select and
press OK. A list of all recordings will be shown
and you can now easily scroll down to the
recording you want to preview and press OK.
The recording will start to play in the small
window.
• Full Screen: if you wish to watch the
recording in FULL SCREEN simply press the
RED (Full Screen) button.
• Delete: Should you wish to DELETE any
of the recordings that you have made then
proceed as in PVR PREVIEW but instead of
pressing OK after selecting the relevant le
press the BLUE (Delete) button. You will then
be asked to conrm before the recording is
deleted.
