Important safety instructions
● Protect the appliance from moisture and
splashing water and do not operate it
with wet hands.
● Do not clean the appliance with water.
● The appliance should not be used by
those with
- sensitive skin
- allergies
- pimples or acne (we strongly advise
against using the appliance around
pimples or acne)
● Caution: this appliance should only be
used on the face and around the nape of
the neck.
● Before the appliance is used, the main
body as well as any attachments fitted
should be checked thoroughly for any
defects; this also applies to the trimming
head. If the appliance, for instance, has
been dropped onto a hard surface, it
must no longer be used: even invisible
damage may have adverse effects on its
operational safety.
● The appliance is to be used on bare skin
only. Any residues from soap, creams or
lotions on the skin may cause it to
malfunction.
● This appliance is not intended for use by
any persons (including children) with
reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities, or lacking experience and
knowledge, unless they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning the
use of the appliance by a person
responsible for their safety.
● Children should be supervised to ensure
that they do not play with the appliance.
● No responsibility will be accepted if
damage results from improper use, or if
these instructions are not complied with.
● This appliance is intended for domestic
use only and not for commercial
applications.
● In order to comply with safety
regulations and to avoid hazards, repairs
of electrical appliances must be carried
out by qualified personnel. If repairs are
needed, please send the appliance to one
of our customer service departments.

Battery
A decrease in the operating
speed indicates that the battery
needs to be replaced.

Never dispose of old batteries in your
domestic garbage. Old batteries must be
disposed of through local ‘special
garbage collection points’.

During extended periods of non-use,
always remove the battery from its
compartment.
Battery replacement:
-
Remove the protective cover and take
the battery compartment cover off the
housing.

When installing the battery (‘AAA’-
type,1.5V), always ensure correct
polarity.

Replace the battery compartment cover.
-
The use of rechargeable batteries will
result in a reduced speed, as the
operating voltage has a lower rating.
