lid is properly fitted before attaching the
container itself to the main unit. The
container must be correctly fitted and
fully locked into place for the built-in
safety switch to operate.
-
Insert the plug into a suitable wall socket.
As soon as the operating button is
pressed, the grinding process begins.
Keep the button pressed until either:
- all beans in the container have been
ground, or
- until the desired quantity of ground
coffee has been produced (or the
“Max.”-marking in the collection
container has been reached),
- or until the appliance has been running
for the maximum operating time of 90
seconds.
-
After grinding, always remove the plug
from the wall socket before removing the
collection container or opening the bean
container lid.
● Note: to ensure optimum coffee flavour,
only the required quantity of beans
should be ground immediately prior to
brewing. Should another grinding cycle
become necessary, however, the
maximum operating time of 90 seconds
must not be exceeded.
General care and cleaning
● Before cleaning the appliance, always
remove the plug from the wall socket and
wait until the motor has come to a
complete standstill.
● To avoid the risk of electric shock, do not
clean the housing or the power cord with
water, and do not immerse them in
water. The housing may be wiped with a
slightly damp, lint-free cloth. Wipe
thoroughly dry afterwards.
-
The grinding mechanism may be opened
up for cleaning, and also in case of a
malfunction.
- Turn clockwise
to open the grinding mechanism
- Turn anti-clockwise
to close the grinding mechanism.
A small, soft brush is suitable for cleaning
the grinding mechanism and the outlet
opening.
-
The collection container and the lids may
be cleaned using hot water and a mild
detergent. Wipe thoroughly dry
afterwards. These parts are not dish-
washer safe.
