Before rst use
Remove any packing materials completely
and clean all accessories as described in the
section General care and cleaning.
Operating switch
e operating switch allows for the following
switch settings:

Wind-up power cord storage
e power cord can be wound up for storage
on the underside of the unit. Unwind it
completely before operation.
Operation:
General information
– First, t the required attachment.
– Note: this kitchen appliance is equipped
with two safety switches and can only be
activated if the selected attachment has
been correctly tted and safely locked.
– Turn o the appliance a er use (switch
position ‘0’) and wait until the motor
has come to a complete standstill before
changing or removing any attachments.
Chopping/mincing and puréeing
– Fit the drive sha
to the drive unit.
– Attach the bowl with the handle to the
right and turn it clockwise to lock until
the lock symbol and triangular mark are
aligned.
– Fit the drive sha extension to the drive
sha .
– Remove the protective cover and t the
chopping/mincing blade to the drive sha
extension in such a way that the blade
almost touches the bottom of the bowl.
– Caution: Hold the blade only by its plastic
sha - the blades are extremely sharp.
– Put the ingredients (max. 700g) into the
bowl.
– Put the lid on the bowl and turn it
clockwise until it locks into place.
– For safety reasons, use the appropriate
pestle at all times when feeding the
ingredients down the food chute. During
operation, the pestle should remain
inserted.
Operation settings
We recommend using the switch setting P.
e right degree of chopping/mincing (from
coarse to ne) for meat, onions, dried fruit,
celery, sh etc. is normally achieved a er 15-
30 seconds.
