2. Silk’n SensEpil™ Intended Use

1.3. The Disposable Lamp Cartridge

The Silk’n SensEpil™ DISPOSABLE LAMP CARTRIDGE can ﬁre 750 light pulses (regardless of the energy level of these pulses).

For average body size 750 light pulses could cover for example: One treatment sessions of 2 Legs, 2 Arms, 2 Underarms,

and Bikini line.

Or Tw o treatments sessions of 2 legs and 2 Underarms. Or Te n treatments sessions of 2 Underarms and Bikini line

Depending on the body areas you wish to treat, you will typically need to use from one to seven

DISPOSABLE LAMP CARTRIDGES

during the ﬁrst year of using Silk’n SensEpil™.

Silk’n SensEpil™ may be used to remove unwanted body hair.

Ideal body areas for Silk’n SensEpil™ use include the underarms, bikini line, arms and legs.

Light based hair removal is not suitable for naturally darker skin tones or tanned skin. Silk’n SensEpil™ comes with a built-

SKIN COLOR SENSOR that is designed to measure the complexion of the applied surface and enable application only on

suitable skin complexions. This unique safety feature will not let you treat where your skin is too dark or too tanned.

Furthermore, The 2X3cm²

OPTICAL LENS through which pulses of light are delivered is recessed inside the LAMP CARTRIDGE at

the

APPLICATOR TIP. This enables Silk’n SensEpil™ to protect your skin by avoiding direct contact between the OPTICAL LENS

and the skin.

APPLICATOR has a built-in safety feature for eye protection. It has been designed so that a light pulse

can not be emitted when the

APPLICATOR is facing open air. The safety switch is activated only when the APPLICATOR TIP is in
