for appro x. 1–2 seconds (see Fig. B). Mean-
while, press the ON/ OFF button, again to switch
between the units “k g“ and “lb“.
Once the L C-display reads “0.0“ and the
desired unit of w eight, you can start weighing
again as described in section “ W eighing“.

Now slightly lift the scale with the piece of lug-
gage. Make sur e the scale is horizontal and bal-
anced. The L C-display will show the w eight of the
piece of luggage, after 2-3 seconds the display
will freeze f or approx. 1 minute and the r eading
will be displayed. During this time the L C-display
will read HOLD

. The device will then auto-
matically switch off.
Note: The heavier the piece of luggage, the
longer it takes to w eigh.
Press the ON / OFF button whilst the w eight is
being displayed to r eset the display to “0.0 kg“
or “0.0 lb“. Y ou may now start another weighing
process.
